how does one acquire access to post in the social groups? I attempted to respond to a thread in the social group I wished to enter with the intent to momentarily hijack the thread long enough to ask this question, but was denied access.
Do I need to display evidence of having sacrificed my first-born son or how exactly does this work?

send a PM to the moderator of that forum and ask for membership.

Most of the time there is a "Join social group" link when you enter the group. you have to be a member of a social group to post within it.

Most groups anyone can join, but some are invitation only.

Can you say which social group? If you do not want to say here, you can PM me and I can assist you.
