the video talks about using 3.6v batteries in an unresistored prodigy v1. the prodigy v2 is resistored...different (lower) voltage to the atomizer. i don't know what the voltage is exactly with the resistance of the v2, but it's definitely lower than using it in the v1 without a resistor which is 7.2-7.4V!!!
bottom line, ps recommends one type of battery..and really only one specific battery, the tenergy lifepo4 750mah. consequently, many other batteries with the same general specs don't even fit into the unit. when you get a chance try to pop your 3.6V batteries in there just to see if they fit. whether you choose to vape with it or not (and i personally recommend an hv atty for anything over 5.5V anyway) be sure to report back so others will know another battery that will fit in the unit. right now I know the awlifepo4's (3.0V) fit in there, and the soshine cr123a (3.7V) do as well. but having said that, i have about 7 other types of cr123a's that just don't fit.

I just order my v2 last week and it should be coming in soon i just have a quick question on the battery subject can you use a 18650 in the v2 or no???

V2 uses materials the reduce volts to atty/carto's. Using a 3.7v battery on it would only drop the volts probably below 3v so its pointless. V2 is made to use 2 rcr 3.0v batteries use any other voltage batteries and u might break something. Then cry cuz it broke and ask for a fix at puresmokes expense. Wish puresmoke wouldn't cover users error might be even be more affordable for the consumers cuz they don't have to flip the bill for idiots that don't know how to uses things the correct way.

Ditto - freakin' AMAZING and ease of use, taste, etc. spoils you for anything else.

I've had my Prodigy V2 about 2 weeks now and it miss fires more and more frequently, and now it's just not working. I am pretty sure I over tightened the atomizer. I've getting juice form the plastic cap every time. I read somewhere before I ordered it that if you over tighten it the atomizer pushes down the contact tab in the adapter? Can I take the adapter off and push it back up? Please help, I miss 5v. How in the hell do I get the adapter off?
The adapter just twists/turns off.....Do not pull on it, just twist/turn to your right....
To your RIGHT? So it's reverse threaded? Pretty sure thats not what you meant. What do you use to grab it? Tweezers? I'm scared of messing the threads up.

It's more instinctive for me to hold the body of the V2 with my right hand and the adapter with my left. I'll be looking at it more from the battery end, and the adapter will appear to be turning to the right and the body to the left. That's probably what he meant.
As for your other question, I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but sometimes people have screwed the atty on too tight and needed to gently pull the center of the atty back out just a tad (with a paper clip or tiny screwdriver, etc., stuck in the hole). You may also need to tap the center of the adapter back up gently.
