The protank does not suck. It is the best no hassle nicotine delivery system going and it isn't even close.
i used vivi nova stv's for a month, which worked awesome if you keep them clean, and i just got a protank. It's amazing so far, no leaks smokes awesome, cleaned it and dry burned it last night and it only got better. No gurgling or any problems, so if you have one that's leaking or gurgling, it might be bad quality control. Giving it 4.6 outta 5 stars as i do like an airy draw, but it's a little more than i like. Awesome tank overall so far.

So, the EVOD head is a "drop-in" replacement that seems to work better?
Not... really. One, there are lemons; you may receive a defective one. Two, many of us (me included) hate the Protank in its stock form. Its just not a good vape. And i really dont think im doing anything wrong - i dont know how to say it without sounding like a smug, but i know what im doing.
Love the pro tank. Thinking of replacing my carto tanks with the pro tank. Pyrex is a strong glass and should hold up to the abuse.
I did exactly this... Couldn't be happier and can't have enough of them. They are my go to tanks when I'm not hitting the ZAP.
Sorry to hear bout your troubles, my Protank is fantastic, no issues as of yet, in regards to the rebuilds, I like the way it is right out the box, I will try some tweaks down the road but is really user preference, not something that is needed
Most of the pyrex tubes on the market go through an annealing process making them incredibly tough and shatter resistant. If you have any doubts google "Phiniac brick wall test".
I had a bit of a Protank problem myself. The tank leaked where the glass met the metal. I got it with the intent to vape with glass immediately so I fixed the leak with electrical tape and it vaped fine.
If that happened to me I'd contact the vendor that sold it to me. They should replace it, Kanger will reimburse the supplier.
I'm loving my ProTank. If you get some juice that you initially didn't like in another clearo, be sure to also try the juice in the ProTank. I found my ADV that way, and I have my ProTank dedicated to that juice exclusively, so I bought a second yesterday to try different juices in.
I have wanting the ProTank. Lots of good advice in this forum. My EVOD keeps leaking.
I finally got my Pro Tank working pretty well. Now I am getting pretty partial to it. Make sure the coil is tightened all the way. That was causing shorts etc.
I love my ProTank. I've dopped it numerous time and it has never broken. I have refilled it many times and NEVER a leak. The hit is a little light. It's hard to vape an EVOD after the ProTank because of the EVOD's tight draw.
I'll be cutting and drilling the three I have to fit a 510 drip tip. Selling two of the three in classifieds. Something to consider especially once it's cold. Just don't use them anymore and would at least like to recoup what I paid. Will post again once they're ready..
