Oh i know, i actually turned in a ticket, and they offered to do just that, but my conscience told me "Hey, you know it was probably your fault its broken", so yeah, i was just like, dang, ok, i will just buy another one. I have a really guilty conscience, haha. so i will just tough it out til they get more. If it takes too long i am sure i can figure it out.
Just got the text: Steve is coming home with 142 Proteges AANNNDDDD PACKING TAPE!!! Haha, we ran out this morning!!! 8-o8-o8-o8-o8-o
I'm hanging up a DO NOT DISTURB sign from now until 6 so we get can these tested and packaged and shipped. So shhhhhhhhhhhh! Will post order #'s shipped on Twitter when we're done!
It's beyond awesome. I thought it would be awesome, then I received it and it was way sweeter than I envisioned. I just wish it had more storage. I have a Zune 120 as well so I kind of have to pick and choose what I want on the HD since it has 1/4th of the space. Pure awesomeness though. The best part about the zunes is the zune marketplace. EPIC.
Please don't take this the wrong way,, but please leave all idle banter outside of this thread
i.e. Zune talk... this thread is for protege news.... the wait is killing me and I don't want to have to weed through the junk looking for the protege talk...
Thank you for your understanding... and if you continue that's your call... I am only requesting not demanding
Quick question, I'm looking to buy my first e-cig, and the protege has caught my eye. I am wondering though, does the protege not come with cartriges, is there a product I should buy before leaping into the protege? Thanks for any help
It comes with a mouth piece on its atty (same as a cart, but no cotton stuff to hold luquid). It doesn't come with fill-able carts. Its primarily used for dripping right onto the atty. Dripping is a LOT better. Just be careful while you are driving.

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and leap straight into a Protege. The versatility of different adapters for different atomizers will save you big time in the end. Everybody has their own preference and this will allow you to end up with your favorite without buying 3 or 4 sets of batteries and chargers most people end up with. Not to mention the aggravation you'll save by not having to switch batteries every 2 hours and staying close to a charger.
Pick the kit you think you'll prefer or order the kit and the optional adapters.
Buy a couple extra atomizers for spares and some liquid that sounds tasty.
You can always buy cartridges from someplace else if you find you don't like dripping.
I would have saved a lot of money if I would have just started with the Protege. In my defense, no such animal existed at the time.
I will second that opinion. You would not be taking a jump at all. You would be doing the smart thing by going with either the Protege or the big boy Prodigy. Both are sure to last you years instead of weeks that normal e-cig batteries will. And you can get replacements much cheaper. I wish I would have known about the Puresmoker line before buying every other e-cig first. If you are serious about quitting analogs then you will need a quality e-cig and a good juice supplier. My first e-cig experience was always a dead battery and waiting for the little light to turn green on the charger. That was annoying. With the Protege or Prodigy the batteries will go way longer.

Hey, I would advising checking out the new user section in the forum. Some suggest a starter kit (510 is great). You can get them from Cignot.com for $35. This would be a wise choice to figure out if you even like the e-cig. If you like the 510, you can buy the Protege and just attach the atomizers you already have.
Cartridges get way too expensive; most users (90%) buy juice separately and refill the cartridge as needed.
