a tube for 14650 would make proteus too long but it can be done fright. But 2x14500 have to be on a box style mod

Imeo i agree wit you for 14500 size, i'm newbie in mod world and i don't also understood what is 2x14250 advantage...
Bigger capacity, or just bigger amperes for most power?

I know I would buy one. I think others would as well. I know it would make it longer but because of how thin and light it would be it would still be a very light mod. And this is completely guessing but I would bet the vape time would be worth the size. But I will trust your judgement and if needed wait till I can put Proteus's electronic into my JGG or GGTS and go dual 18650's for a real all day vape.

I really hope I am wrong on this and we ends up getting trouble-free Proteus in the first run.
But I do want to mention that it would be unreasonable to expect bug-free electronics during the initial launch. Electronics aren't like mechanical parts that screw together and individual components aren't as robust as pieces of metal. Yes, it could be bug free but at the cost of months/years of beta trials and lots of manpower. This type of expectation will choke the willingness to take the risk of doing something truly innovative.
In order for GG to stay competitive, we can't be worried about minor issues with initial launch and let Imeo get the product out to the early adopters for constructive feedbacks and rapid improvements. For those who doesn't want to deal with potential issues can always wait for next batch. I would much rather see Imeo releasing the initial batch as soon as possible and spend following few months perfecting it. End result would be much better than Imeo spending next few months trying to perfect it by himself and hoping for perfect initial batch.

Again, I hope I am wrong on this but just want to set the right level of expectation on electronics.

I wouldnt want to be one of people testing - I want trouble free electronics. I dislike electronics, thats why I only own mechanicals - only reason for me to buy this is because it's Imeos first venture into non-mechanical.

All should have highest level of expectation or it shouldnt be released to the masses.

LOL I am the opposite. Longest battery life for while out and about. I personally hate carrying multiple batteries. At home I don't mind swapping batts but when out not so much.

True but on the other hand I'm tired of people coming up to me and asking me when I'm out with my JGG in 18650 + Ithaka. Hopefully with proteus I can hide it better...

It will hide a lot better. I'm using my V2 & V3 on a regulated 14500 mod (roughly the size of Proteus) the last few weeks. It's very small, stealthy and elegant. But be prepared to carry and swap a lot of batteries. :)
