yeah i know what you mean. i love my penelopes... but it would also be nice to have a good looking tank for my Sophia as well. it's strange that no one makes a 17mm tank.

the smok dct is like 15mm i think.

I can't compare

a tube at 16mm with 15x... threads inside it will bend immediately even if only one time the tube falls to floor and even from a small distance leo. It can be done but it will so thin that will bring you the problems you had with penelope mouthpiece that had really thin walls. Its not worth it at all. You will have an expensive mod in your hands but so sensitive that you will regret it!

DISCLAIMER: I generally vape 1 to 2 ohm coils at 10-15 watts. That provides the best vaping experience for me. I am not interested in high wattage vaping especially with the Proteus. In fact, as I type this I have Penny V1 at 1.5 ohms on a vv device at 4.3 volts.

So I have a few questions regarding maximum wattage settings for Proteus. I read in the specs that the electronics in Proteus are capable of up to 30 watts, but it is not recommended to exceed 15. Can I assume this is strictly for battery safety to avoid overtaxing the 14500 cell?

Even if a person attempted to set the wattage too high, wouldn't the current limiting transistors on the PCB automatically reduce current flow for protection?

Will the firmware for Proteus be written to only allow a maximum setting of 15 watts?

Thanks in advance. I'm trying to suppress my curiosity and excitement, but I'm not doing a very good job of that.

I suggest to vape Proteus up to 15 watts only because battery will not last long Jim. Thats the only reason, nothing more, nothing less.
