Imeo, I've come to live by the saying, "Plan for the worst. Hope for the best."

I'll probably have close to 1,000 people (if not more) wanting to punch me in the spleen, but we have waited almost 3 years. What's a few more days?

True but I'd rather spend New Year's Eve using my Proteus !!!!

Same here, but I don't want to hold my breath in expectation of Proteus again. Do you realize how many times I've lost consciousness doing that over the last few years?

It's all because of those darn microchip manufacturers.

It seems that the problems that I faced with the assembling machine were not really minor ones. Machine has a problem on its surface. Its not totally straight. I have to take off its base and send it for rectification. That was an unexpected problem. I will not delay a lot but I dont think that I will be ready before Christmas.

Sorry about this guys.

It's a shame that that machine had a faulty component, but such things happen (although it shouldn't happen with expensive high precision machines  ).

I'm excited for Proteus, but in my case, I do not mind to wait some more time.

I prefer to have my Proteus after New Year (please guys do not start hitting me with your hats), it is just that in these days, mailing companies are a mess (and Santa Claus is busier).

Also, if Proteus is ready after Christmas (or New Year), I will have a little more time to save some money for it. :D

And additionally, Imeo will have some more time to finish and test it, without any rush.

This.
Do not buy stuff around christmas, it's going to stuck in some post office somewhere. Now imagine waiting for Proteus all this time, having it shipped and blocked between thousands of other packages somewhere; I would freak out.
Let's do this when all shipping services are not fully loaded and deliver quickly.
Main thing is to know everything works fine - a month more or a month less doesn't really make a difference at this point. All IMHO, don't kill me!
