I know they are not the most convenient , but really compact as you showed in video and could be made really soft and with one forth lock system . I like Esterigon button is a real pleasure to use but still find it heavy to keep in shirt pocket when going out .I always use esterigon with 18350 tube , 18500 only for home use. Heaviest part is button casing thought and it makes it long as well . I still hope you can give this option in preorder off course .

Buttom botton help to make a mod shorter. Important if you have additional lenght through electronics.
Are we going to be able to use 14650 batteries on the proteus?

But we have to think more about it. If we want a front button, it has to be made way better than existing ones in the market that are just like GGSlim buttons that was made 4 years ago. We need a front button that doesnt get stuck or cant be pushed in an excellent way from all angles. It has to be very soft too of course and doesnt have a movement against body

I have to say, it's slightly depressing to see the official Proteus thread dropped out of the "Sticky" thread, down here into the regular threads.
It's like watching a king being dethroned before he's even been crowned. Penelope will be very sad.

I don't think it was in the sticky to be begin with. Maybe I am wrong but I think Imeo only puts the sticky stuff for released (and current) items.
Beside, I doubt Proteus will ever be dethroned. The world is watching and waiting.

Imeo , please make a bottom switch , the best ever made . Even if you find them funny , plenty people like them , me included .
I see people making front buttons exactly like GGSlim that was made before 4 years JM and I am wondering why they dont make something better. Anyway I have thought of a new one. I will try to make a sample after August vacations

and once you have a good design for proteus, could be even made for esterigon , to have the shortest and most compact 18xxx stealth shortest is nice but the important is to be convenient JM. And front button mods arent. But I can make one if you want it buddy

I think the Proteus will be Imeo's masterpiece. When I first heard of the Penelope and Proteus, I reserved a serial number for the first production run and at that time my 2nd child wasn't even born. Now she's over 2 years old. I have stopped smoking cigarettes because I have children and the Penelope (v1)helped me stop. Good things come to those who wait. Thank you Imeo for never giving up on the Proteus. I can't wait until it finally is in my hands after all the years.
