I didn't get any notice today of shipment, so I emailed them just making sure they got my payment and everything was still a go.

Got a reply within 30 mins, that is some awesome response time!

They are swamped filling orders from last week, and they said it would definitely ship tomorrow woohoo!

Nice to have a response that fast, really really nice.

Well that makes two of us that have got shipping notice today.

I didn't even know this thread was here lol Wish I had of known but think I would have pulled the trigger on the Mini anyway. Happy to say I have a blacked out one coming.

Just missed out on the DNA Cube and saw a picture of this and had paid within a day.

Anyways really pleased to see such positive feedback so far on the device and hoping to get it in my hand before the end of next week. Have another DNA on order but that one will have a 2400 MaH battery in so looking forward to that comparison .... in fact looking forward full stop lol

I wouldn't sweat it.

Sent a package to Chicago last week and it never left Orlando according to tracking....showed up where it should have but still shows on tracking in Orlando.

Would only get concerned if it doesn't appear by the end of next week. There was Cyber Monday last week and so expect USPS to be rather stretched.

The good news is that the tracking was updated and my XPV is now in Virginia. The bad news is that I probably won’t get it tomorrow – ice, snow and sleet are the words of the day and it’s not going to be getting better anytime soon.

I heard a loud bang this morning and looked out to see that a car had spun out and crashed through my and my neighbor’s back fence. The driver was fine, thank goodness, but a good part of the 7 foot tall fence is kindling size now with parts of the front end of a Toyota 4-Runner lying about. Rather artistic looking, actually, especially with the snow covering it. Given those road conditions, I’m thinking the mail won’t be moving much.

I don't know about that, here in Illinois it takes an act of god to keep my mail man from delivering the mail... Very unusual to say the least... After all, it is their job and they were the ones who chose it...

Just for those looking on...

Ordered November 29th, dispatched December 7th.

Not bad for a custom order.

Have another DNA on order that I paid for on 26th that I haven't heard is shipped yet and not whining about that one. I am sort of expecting this device to become more popular and that will lead to back ups eventually so get in early lol

Mine has been sitting in a Hawaii sort facility for the last 2 days. It's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, I'm in Indiana. Not sure how this is going to work.

Are these shipping from Hawaii? No information on the website as to where the company is located, or where the product ships from...

Posted this before reading the entire thread... Hmm...

I wonder if I can pay through PayPal and just go pick it up? These guys seem to be responding quickly to e-mails... :D Never hurts to ask!

Just got the XPV and my initial impression can be summed up with “Wow!” Very nicely made. The case machining is great and the overall feel is wonderful. Love the button – clicky but easy to press. The pocket clip is some type of plastic material but feels very stout. I was unsure about whether I would like that, but am glad I went for it – it does not get in the way and will be handy to have when out and about.

Love the form factor – perfect for in the car. Although there are 4 exposed screws on each end, it stands up solidly without any wobble.

The top screws, however, can be a problem with toppers that are wider than 21mm. The Russian 91% (which I think is 21mm) just grazes the edges of the 4 exposed top screws. Something wider will sit on top of the screws, potentially making it difficult to get a good 510 connection unless it has an adjustable post. The connector pin on the XPV is not adjustable.

It came nicely packaged along with a charging cable, a shorty 510 extension, a 510/ego connector, a brief manual and a card with the serial number of the device (I’m #66).

The manual states that the battery is connected with a push connector which are available from Protovapor when it comes time to replace the battery. It also states that they will replace the battery for free if you buy the battery from them (but you have to pay for postage).

Warranty is 90 days for materials, 1 year for the DNA20 components.

The dial approach for changing wattage works well and is easy to use. I do wish that the screen was on the same side as the button, but it's not a big deal.

No pics since my camera battery is dead at the moment – will post some later.

Well worth the price paid – very pleased.

I was wondering about the screws myself, seems like it would be pretty easy for them to be countersunk at time of machining, so they sit flat with the top.

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, hopefully USPS follows through!

BTW I belive the Russian 91% is the same as a Kayfun Lite, which is 22mm.
