Did you guys hire a firm to handle your new marketing campaign? I don't mean to sound mean, but, I feel that whatever they are doing is taking away from your image. I love the company and product, but if my first impression would have been what I see now on the Facebook page, I probably would have went with a different unit. Not saying that my Provari isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread, I cant live without it. But potential customers will probably think differently.

There was a particular post I saw that made me think the same thing. It seemed as if the person posting may have been drunk. When I made a friendly joke about a misspelled word, it was responded to kind of negatively. I just wanted to participate in the giveaway that was mentioned and interact with the page. I agree that it was not becoming of a company as highly regarded as ProVape is.

I didn't like the new add. I have to agree with the original poster. Just pasting pictures of a Provari into NYC landmark photos looks kind of cheesy.
I liked this add much better. The Provari is a very cool looking APV. Show more of that. Or hire some cosplay Cyberpunks to show us the future of "smoking."

Yeah, that is not a good video. I felt like I was watching a techno episode of 'clubbers gone wild'. It doesn't say anything of value such as: 1) what the Provari Mini is (is it an ecig or a clubbing companion?), if it is USA made like the first (which is HUGE to people), the blue LED vs. red LED comparison, that you can get the silver in a blue LED if you desire, the dimensions or weight, the price, or -_______?

This new marketing company is a JOKE.

Provape - I don't know how much you are paying these clowns, but the brand deserves better. The New York video is the most lame thing I have seen in a very long time.

Also the tone and content of some recent posts on Facebook range from the totally bizarre to down right offensive.

I get where you were going with this. Mass-market and mainstream is far more profitable and interesting than the vaping sub-culture, witness the success of Blu who are crying about all the hardcore vapors hating on their product, all the way to the bank with their big cashout and sale to Newport...

I get it. Vaping is cool, it's sexy, hot girls in clubs in NYC will fall all over you if you're holding a ProVari, buy a ProVari and be hip!

Except ... if that vid was a demo made by some shareholder's kid or relative, then it's pretty good, and they're eventually gonna get there. But, if you guys actually paid an agency to produce that ... I'd sue them, or never use them again.

I have ... absolutely no idea what your product is. Yes, I see the ProVape logo, but no, you are nowhere near as iconic as Apple, and can't quite pull that one off. Also, when companies selling tech or new mobile phones do these montages, they all kinda make some sort of sense. Yours doesn't.

It's just ... incredibly awful. It looks like someone took a bunch of outtakes from random NY and club stock video scenes, stole a lamer version of the helicopter shot from Dr. Dre's Kush video, and super-imposed a ProVari still into it. Great artists steal, poor artists make incredibly awful, half-baked copies and homages.

Sorry, just saying. It doesn't make me like my ProVari any less.

The ProVari is high-tech, vaping is hip and sexy, smoking is so yesterday, blah blah blah, all good selling points. You hit ... none of them with that vid. The first one was better, but still ... meh.

p.s., please hurry up with the thumbnail size retina display, and iPhone app already. That one will sell a lotta units.

I'm going to try to explain about the video..

The whole idea was to start a city search where we gather pictures of users using their ProVari and then feature that city in a video. We started with NY and some stock images and video because we don't have user photos yet. That was the idea behind asking for images and having people send in photos, I also posted a sticky if anyone would like to upload a few photos.
This video was made by one of us at ProVape.

Maybe a ProVape commercial would be better?

I shoot commercials all the time so I know I can do that with ease. ;)

I'm open to any suggestions you all may have.

Sincerely,
Ken

Honestly, if I did not already own a Provari, I would be watching that video and scratching my head. I work for one of the largest research firms in the world. We just did a cancer study that polled about 50,000 Americans. One question asked if they knew about the existence of electronic cigarettes. While I cannot talk about specific study details until the results are released as PUFs, I will say that a substantial amount responded that they had not ever heard of 'such device'. So actually discussing the eCig may be important in itself.

Discuss your products are American-made by skilled American metal fab workers. That is a huge selling point...not just because it conveys quality to justify a price, but also because I know many people who will only buy USA-made products.

On an unrelated note, can you also consider selling regular stainless and bare Boge cartos? I cannot use the black ones on my tank and I would like to give you guys the business...I imagine I am not the only one who feels that way either.
