I used the "ProVarinati" with the knobs, since that was the hi-res I got from your latest PDF, but I like it better without. The LST font is Tacoma, two layers to make it bold.

Did they specifically ask for a vector file? Lots of people don't have a program to open it. The only time I send vector files is when the product will be silk screened. For print items I send my printers .jpg files for images; .gif for all test; and .psd layers if we're still working on it.
They did not ask for a vector file. They asked for high resolution images. I figured it could save them time if these are being engraved on a CNC machine, but I really don't know.

I like it without the blackening around the year and ambigram
And my vote is for all of it to be engraved. Since it's a collectible item and meaningful I would like to ensure it's going to last. Want my great great great grandkids to find it one day.
The blackening is just for contrast. Every design you've seen is planned to be engraved. The black are the parts being engraved. I suspect that we will have to do the blackening ourselves, unless ProVape decides they really want to do a baked enamel finish on these.

Edit: @MasterChief68 I think most people would rather have the "Lumen Sees Totus" engraved on the outer rim of the cap.

The vent holes should be moved to bracket the "2014." Where they are at now is dangerously close to the edge of the threads. Even pulled back to the "2014" it's going to be close.

or they could be tucked closer to the space between the rays and the triangle.

Even if the hole sizes were made half that size, and were moved in slightly?

This was just a mock up. I imagine they will tweak the layout so it works the best for them.

Regarding black or anything else: people - look at the caps ProVape already makes. Ours will be the same. We need to make this project as simple and inexpensive for them to make as possible. If this one is easy, and sells well, it will increase the chances of them wanting to work with us in the future.

Could they drill the holes so that they're angled a little toward the center?

Probably. But we're trying to make less work for them.
The vent holes could also be drilled partway through the top of the cap (where the spring is) and then drilled through the edge of the cap like just about every aftermarket ProVari cap is.

*google Cingulum Compleo if you don't know what I'm talking about.

My Last post about it,

I just see the Provarinati, The All Seeing Eye in a pyramid, with the words Lumen Sees Totus as one and should be together.

I understand some don't get the Sees in a latin phrase but to me it's same as the word Haz. I haz a ProVari!

Its just something that someone said a long time before I got here, and it stuck.

LUMEN SEES TOTUS

Lumen = Latin - the eye, clearness, understanding, the light, the light of day.
TOTUS = Latin - whole, entire, complete, all.

These words are used by so many new ProVari owners
Thier eyes now have a clearness and understanding of the whole entire complete reason what ProVari owners been saying.

I guess it comes down to "Do we want the lettering raised and the background engraved? or do we want the lettering engraved?" I think the lettering raised would be more readable, but at the expense of durability. The letters could be damaged more easily.

Thoughts?

No preference

I understand, and I sympathise. Still, we are talking about something slightly smaller than an American Quarter being engraved with equipment that isn't capable of the fine detail that the U.S. Mint is capable of producing. Besides, it will be shiny, it will have Lumen Sees Totus on it, and you want it so much...

I get that the LST has been said for long before I showed up. But I said when I first got the provari, "now I get it" just as pbusardo said. In addiction, the the three new people in the saloon all said the same exact thing, "now I get it." When LST was first being used it is my understanding that the intent was a Latin phrase of "now I get it"
I'm only bringing this up here because we seem to have a final draft and the Latin translation for now I get it, is "Nunc intellego" just saying it's not too late to replace LST. I understand that changing the original saying May not be a good idea to some. But to new owners and members it may carry more meaning. My first provari vape bordered on a religious experience. It was the first vape that didn't miss an analog. It was the first time I could say that I wasn't an ex-smoker; but rather, a current vapor. Those word of, "now I get it," meant something. Then again I hadn't wondered into the saloon yet. And I'' going to get a couple of caps no matter what saying is on it. Just wanted to make sure that perspective out there; not really trying to change anything, i love the cap, and can't wait to get it. I'm jut putting the perspective into a way that may not have been considered is all.

It's a ProVari, got to go with durability.:)

History Lesson!
The Provarinati "cult" got it's start on 04-17-2013, (Mars was in Aries and 4/25-5/25 saw three eclipses, two lunar and one solar eclipse marked the Provarinati's beginning) but of course there were ProVari fans long before then. It only seems like the Provarinati has existed as long as the ProVari. I'm not sure when The Ocelot coined the phrase "Lumen Sees Totus" though.
