I like my SVD, and I know Kat likes hers too.

I was pretty happy with it at the time. I put an original Nautilus on the thing. Worked great, looked great, fun to play with around the house. I bought the same set up for my older son for his birthday and he liked it too. He still uses his.

Life expectancy:
China 76.1 years
USA 79.3 years
Cuba 79.1 years

If China ate as much red meat and fried chicken as Americans, their life expectancy would drop considerably. Maybe they eat their chicken with lentils instead of fries ...

Or, maybe Chinese food isn't as healthy as we thought. Must be the MSG that's killing them off prematurely.

LOL what thread doesn't go off track!! i appreciate every ones feedback even if it goes off track. I just want to be clear, i truly do not believe vaping will be found to be worse or as harmful as smoking, even long term. This is why i vape and why i have converted soo many of my daughters friends to vaping. But i do sometimes wonder about the long term effects that are unknown. I believe any harms found will be completely different then the one's we encountered with cigs obviously and why in the short term we feel better in the early stages. But i do believe more is to come in vaping concerns and we will have to readjust. I am just frustrated with current research and don't trust either side. Both have agendas and i don't like what i am seeing. We should be soo much further along with research, especially on the provaping side. We may not have enough data yet to determine long term effects, but we should have alot more data at this point. I just expect the provaping researchers to be more up to date in their studies and they are not. I expect this from antivaping researchers. Stop trying to prove antivaping research as wrong..their basing their studies on old technology anyway.

Well, one of the big early bits of 'research' that was repeated over and over was the result of frying poor quality juice at high voltage. That was passed around for years. And not a week goes by that I don't see some BS article spitting out propaganda on the anti-vape side. I don't really see that going on for the pro-vape side of things.

but the question was, what was your pro and con views on provaping research. It's pretty clear how everyone, including myself, feels about antivaping research.

it seems like when we are asked to reflect upon our own side, it's crickets. It's all fun and games to distract a thread, but when hard questions are asked no one seems to want to answer the question. This is the very reason i don't trust provaping research, because everyone hears what they want to hear and dares not question it....because it's what they want to hear. Does anyone dare not question our own side of research, have an opinion pros verse cons? or just not dare share it out of denial that there are problems with the provaping research. Let's see how open minded this forum is.

What research? There are many examples of people who have stopped smoking and switched to vaping who showed clear health benefits. But that's boring, and it's hard to pull off a click-bait article built on that. So you'd need a study using healthy people who never smoked who started vaping. And then kept vaping over a long period of time. I haven't seen such a study.
