Look, I wasn't trying to pick a fight. Of course there are mods out there that are worse than the Provaris, I never contested that, or claimed that any Provari is bad in any way. It's just that, in my opinion, Provape are starting to look a bit desperate and exaggerate the pros of their devices and the cons of others. That's how I see it, no need to get defensive.

I did, in my earliest post. Anyway, I've stated my opinion. I'm sorry I said anything negative about the Provape. I'll keep my thoughts to myself next time. Over and out.

I honestly don't notice a difference in the vape when I clean the threads and contacts on my Provi ... I'm thinking of stopping

I never check the IQ

more time for vaping :vapor:
Plus, with as many Provi as you own...

It would be a fulltime job!!!

For the record I think you are entitled to your opinion. You are a very smart guy and an asset to this forum. I realize that your done talking about this and I respect/understand this. Just wanted to state my support for your right to have a differing opinion , albeit late I realize.
I also found provapes statement about others inaccuracy to be a bit strange but attributed it to it just being a holdover statement from a few years back. It didn't strike me as nefarious.

There was a time when Provape ruled the roost but vape technology moves incredibly fast and Dollar for dollar many devices compete quite admirably with them nowadays and perform functions that they simply cannot . Certainly an Istick can't compete (especially the dreaded 20 watt ) but many, many high end devices are simply a joy to own, use and operate.

I'm not trying to rankled anyone. .but I thought we'd moved past the point when multiple people would promptly start posting whenever someone dared disagree with provapes unquestionable dominance.

I own a lot of ProVape devices (P3, Classic, Radius, 2.5) and would consider myself a fanboy.

However, the P3 is far from a perfect device IF you subohm. I have 2 P3's and have completely given up trying to run them at/near 20w with a 0.5ohm tank/coil. The EQ feature makes it basically impossible.

If you are trying to vape at 20w and the P3 reads your prebuilt 0.5ohm coil a bit lower, it might not fire. If the spring needs to be stretched a bit, it might not fire. If the threads need at be lubed, it might not fire. If the P3 decides that it doesn't really like your battery, it might not fire.

Bottom line? IME, there is almost ZERO chance one will actually be able to consistantly vape a P3 at or near 20w @ 0.5ohms. I gave up and basically use my P3's like very expensive 2.5's (1.6ohm/13w).

The only negative I have about any ProVape device I own is that the P3 is NOT a 20w/0.5ohm capable device unless the stars align.
