I did, in my earliest post. Anyway, I've stated my opinion. I'm sorry I said anything negative about the Provape. I'll keep my thoughts to myself next time. Over and out.

I cannot say PV never, but PV not lately would be right. I've used a RX200 for a couple months and I really enjoy the battery life. I used it at 80 watts and higher for a couple weeks with the TV4 stock head but soon went to the rebuildable with no regrets. 20 watts at .8 ohms is OK with me, so is the 3 day battery life with Samsung 25r's in the tray.

Provari has definitely fell way behind the curve.

What curve are you referring to?

Like I said in another topic, can there be ANY PVs on the market for people who do not want temp control, who do not want high voltage?

As I also related, I have friends paying for quad processors on new computers when they only use the computer to email pics of their grandchildren to friends or post on facebook. They are not crunching databases or using advanced graphics software, etc.

What a waste. That is why (thankfully) there are computer builders (I did it as a hobby for friends) who will build you a white box with exactly what you WANT and NEED ...... and not all this other stuff you don't want or need and certainly shouldn't have to pay for. :)

I started vaping in 2012 and have never vaped above 8 watts. Most of the time I'm at less than that. I just can't do higher. :) It makes me gag.

Its been a while since ive posted some Provari hate, but a long term vaper i know bought one last week for his son, and spent a week emailing how useless the bloody thing was during testing, before passing it on, compared to current gear. But the Provari crowd seem to like using throwback equipment, probably get nostalgic when watching Downtown Abbey too.

Provari, outdated and overpriced, and still selling, somehow....

You haven't been around all that long that it could be a significant "while".

It's funny, but mine still provide me the exact same vape they did back when I first bought them (four years ago). They haven't gotten any better, but I wouldn't have expected them to, but they also haven't gotten any worse.

Now at $29.95, I'm not sure I'd consider them overpriced. Outdated? Maybe. But so am I, so that's of no personal concern.

Who is Downtown Abbey? Does she blow Cloudz?

For the record I think you are entitled to your opinion. You are a very smart guy and an asset to this forum. I realize that your done talking about this and I respect/understand this. Just wanted to state my support for your right to have a differing opinion , albeit late I realize.
I also found provapes statement about others inaccuracy to be a bit strange but attributed it to it just being a holdover statement from a few years back. It didn't strike me as nefarious.

There was a time when Provape ruled the roost but vape technology moves incredibly fast and Dollar for dollar many devices compete quite admirably with them nowadays and perform functions that they simply cannot . Certainly an Istick can't compete (especially the dreaded 20 watt ) but many, many high end devices are simply a joy to own, use and operate.

I'm not trying to rankled anyone. .but I thought we'd moved past the point when multiple people would promptly start posting whenever someone dared disagree with provapes unquestionable dominance.
Bests- David

VERY well put. ProVape is now one of the many companies putting out excellent devices. If theirs fit a specific vaper's style & budget, they're an excellent buy. They're no longer one of only two or three excellent buys, but they didn't all-of-the-sudden become not-excellent either.

If you're someone who can afford the luxury of having a few of these (many) great devices, having a Provari in the room is far from a bad thing. They're certainly built to last, and you'd compromise absolutely nothing (again - if it fits your style).

I feel very fortunate that the only thing that doesn't work for me are mechs. I simply need controllable output, which I learned a very long time ago. So I stick with regulated mods, don't burn through juice or batteries, and enjoy being able to switch my toppers, enjoying each to the max (depending on my mood), and looking at nothing as a "beat-all, end-all" device or topper.

That's not to say that I don't have my favorites, because I do. But I enjoy everything I have very, very much.

It sure beats the heck out of "needing" to find Marlboro Mediums, and being satisfied with nothing else. I like it.

I think her name is Abbey. She hangs out downtown. With some guy named Cloudz.
I think that show is like Coronation Street. I haven't made it thru 2 minutes of either.

Soap operas are brutal, British soap operas are worse.

May I ask, which one did he buy?

And may I ask, was your friend emailing you for any kind of assistance or just moaning?

And may I ask, if it were for assistance, did you actually attempt to help him or just fuel him with reasons to dislike the ProVari?

And may I ask, what current gear were you both comparing this mystery ProVari to?

But the Provari crowd seem to like using throwback equipment

Somehow....and based solely on your own post, I don't think you tried to help him!
I'm just gonna hazard a guess that you also think the ProVari crowd only use ProVari!

Are we actually allowed to use anything else? ;)

I have lots of Provaris but still use my SX Mini, Snow Wolf, RX200 and various Kanger and iLeaf mods from time to time.

Provape makes some of the the best and most reliable mods made quality-wise IME, but sometimes I want to pull out a cheap 200w Chinese mod to blow me some big@$$ clouds.
