Well, since we'll NEVER know, it's not worth an argument, but I'm as comfortable with my assumptions as you are with yours. My reasons are many, none of which will convince someone who believes otherwise.

Being correct would have just about zero impact on my life, as would being incorrect.

Let's argue about features - at least that's tangible.

40 watts is PLENTY - and almost four times what I need. And since it meets MY needs, it should meet everybody's. Yessirreebob.
You assume a lot! Not everybody is like you, especially me when I never vape below 50 watts...lol

SMACK!!

I'm fairly certain that there was just a TOUCH of humour in DPLongo's post.

Ergo the "Yessirreebob", n'est pas(b)? :D

(but he IS right.)

Yeah, I did mean a little humor in my post saying not everybody is happy vaping at 40w max... Sone folks are, but I'm definitely not one of them.. In fact all my mods are 75w+ as I enjoy sub ohm vaping on various RDA's and the awesome subtanks available today from 65-120w...its what keeps me happy, satisfied, and completely tobacco free. it's why I vape.. It is what works for me..

but I do respect those who are different... Its great we have options that keeps all of us happy vaping.. [emoji12]

Smack, i too used to vape like you do. i was a 100W+ kind of guy. I thought this was VAPING. i was wrong. 20 watts and im golden, you just gotta build to that scale. The pros for me are longer lasting coils, batteries, and mods. Not to mention the reduction of juice and the huge boost of flavor. I think that getting down to a lower nic (1.5mg) definitely helped in my transition to lower watts. I know where you are and i know that its a nice vape up there. i honestly feel its a better vape down here.

This is in no way intended to put down your style, or to say what works for you is wrong. just had to shout out.

Actually I did try it "down there" but quickly learned I needed a boost if i was to remain tobacco free ...that was three years ago...started with a provari/protank, got into mechs and realised I was born to sub ohm..I loved it! I still use my mechs but VW dual batt box mods are my main devices in use today....the money I save not buying 4 cartons of Marlborough a month anymore buys a lot of juice! It's about the nic hit...two deep pulls at 70w on a RDA or subtank with a .25 build and I'm good! Oh well, take care and thx for your reply..

Of course ... but by the same token, I wouldn't be handing a mech over to my mum/wife/daughter/grand-daughter and expect them to always recognise when there is an immediate problem ... mechs and 200W devices are for the hobbyists, and not the user who just wants to replace smoking.

And there are many devices that safely meet that goal, many of them Chinese, but western manufacturing can't compete against eastern manufacturing unless you want to work for less than $1/hr too.

I have to ask why you wouldn't hand a mech over to those you mentioned? Because they are women? I'm a woman. And a mathematician.

Nope, not at all. It's because, like my grandson (21), they are not technically inclined. Whenever my daughter has a problem with her EVOD on her iStick, I get it working for her again ;) Thankfully, my grand-daughter (23) and grandson do not, and have not smoked.

So... interestingly enough, there was an article in today's Wall Street Journal that said the industry had been growing at a rate of 114% per year (basically, doubling in size each year), over the past five years*.

If that was the industry average, what's a reasonable assumption of ProVape's growth?

* Analysts are slicing that in half, to 57%, moving forward.

I believe this will be accessible to subscribers only. but here is the link (just in case):

Im not as mathematically inclined, but as a kid I had a crush on Spock from Star Trek and tried to "be" him.

I do suffer from "mech Madness" I have way too many mods and all but 1 now are mechs. I dont see any difference. I like my 60 watt Kainos, but I never go past 10.3. I never build by coils lower than .75ish, my throat hurts.

I used to drive manual gear cars only. I prefer PCs and love insects. Ive repaired my own cars , changed a few tires, Prefer 6 shooters and a coach guns to semi's.

I hate dolls unless they are broken or scary. My parents treated me like a "girly girl" and I was always grouchy. Christmas was disappointing, typical girly stuff: Barbies, bunnies, and crap like that. My brother got erector sets, British model cars, Spirographs.

NOt saying that if your daughters like girly stuff, go ahead, get them what they want, but try opening their horizons. Dont assume she might not enjoy a monster truck or a train set or a cool motorized , flying airplane model.

My mom got me girl stuff, and my dad bought me boy stuff. I like Barbies and train sets :)
