The problem with recommending magnets is that not everyone will have the same diameter magnet and the diameter required for each mod to short will be different.......

....... Short version for fellow provari users: Don't do it.

hey there Nuck!
I'm having a lazy moment, so instead of stalking your posts, I'm just going to ask:

How are you enjoying life back on the customer side of things?
And how are you enjoying your ProVari? never mind; just ran across a post from you about it LOL

I LOVE life without the added pressure. The ability to, once again, be able to voice my opinion on what I see as positive and ummm, not so positive trends in our community is something I really missed.

I love my Provari. There were mods that boosted and there were mods that used inefficient linear regulators but the provari was the first to step it up and put out an efficient buck boost circuit married to a micro-controller. The fact that they put the package inside a quality manufactured body means zero concerns about durability.

Vapers have never had it so good :)

Do it...do it...do it!!!!

A.G;

My friend. Has anyone ever told you that you must never sneak up in back of someone and yell "Do it Do it Do it!" when they have the hammer cocked and locked? You startled me so much that my shot not only took out a Provari, but two 18650 batts, three Delrin tips, and a batt extender. :p

Ha Ha Ha!!!

Didn't mean to scare you man!

I pulled the trigger a week ago...I did the same thing you did...asked a million questions...looked at every mod out there...

I just don't think there is anything better or sexier than the ProVari...

I think the Infinity people are getting a cheap knock-off...it may be VV, but it ain't the ProVari...

This think is going to do everything but suck itself!!! LOL!!!

Now the waiting begins. Luckily they are getting caught up quickly.

Congrats My Man!

Those order numbers mean nothing....they include numbers that aren't the ProVari.
I'm order 3580 and I placed my order a week ago.
They blew through over 250 orders, since mine was placed.
Only Provape knows...

Once again...Congrats!!!
(I hate waiting too, but the payoff is going to be so good!)

Mine arrived yesterday, but I was out of town. It was the first thing I opened when I walked in the door. So far loving it. I have a bunch of cartos I like that I've been wanting to use, but they burn too easy at high voltage because they're only around 2.0 ohms. Been holding them aside just for the ProVari. Now, I can adjust for them on the fly. Overall, the unit feels very solidly built, the button is smooth and the unit is easy to use. Enjoying it very much. Thanks to all the hard working people at ProVape.

I am digging the Boge cartos on the Vari with a DT. I am using the 2.0 ohm and 2.8 ohm ones. Using the DT since I am hitting the 2.8's at 4.9V and the 2.0's at 4.2v and they plow through the juice.

the Boge 2.0Ω cartos are pretty impressive ... just got my first box of them last week. It won't be my last :)

Provape has some 1.8's that are nice too. Same Boge we know an love just .2ohms lower. I like them on the eGo batts when I do not want to carry a MOD around. Enjoy!

Imo, the $25.00 for an extra year of warranty is a "must have", just because I rarely use any other device to vape now. The quality of the device is outstanding and I don't really expect to use the warranty, except maybe the button (due to constant use).

Rowdy

How many folks have opted to get the additional year of insurance for $25?

How many have utilized that extra coverage?

As an average, are these Provari expensive to get fixed if not under insurance?

uh yeah... gulp, i think most of us didn't... but now that you mention it, this PV is going to get a lot of use in a year...

good question by Repent... i think most of us ( i may be wrong) were just blown away with the 1 yr warranty, and well, just not used to PV's of this level of performance...

hopefully the cost will be within range... but the fact is that if this Provari kicks for a year, it will have paid for itself and the price of a new one is not unreasonable. imo.

Judging by (my) past history, over the next year I will have purchased 7 new mods and will have sold my ProVari. As great as this device is there will always be something that comes along to top it. I think that the longest I have gone with a mod is about 3 months. One year warranty is more than enough for me!

And that's the reality of it. Who here is still using a PV (daily) they got 2 years ago?

Forgive me, but no one will have a warranty 2 yrs after they purchased the Provari however, some of us will have a warranty 1 year and 1 day after. :) I guess we can ask the beta testers. It's been, hmmmmm 2+, getting on 3 months for some of them (rough guesstimation). Do you feel like your Provari is 20-25% used up?

Hey :D quick question guys, have any of you tried to do a dry burn yet with their provari?? i tried doing a dry burn on a freshly charged battery( the AW 18490 from provape) and when i do the button starts flashing as if the battery is going dead but it cant possibly be going dead as it just came out the charger and even while its doing that i still get atleast 8 hours of usage. its not posing any problems or inhibiting the performance/usage of the provari but im just wondering if i am the only one who has experienced this and if anybody might know what is going on :D

That's odd, when I dry burn, I reach the cutoff limit, release the button and dry burn till I know it's good.
i usually do it at 5.0v and im to afraid to reach the cut off limit at that voltage so i usually do about 5 to 6 seconds let it sit for a second then do it for another 5 to 6
