I'm hoping for a green LED next, maybe purple.

That's what I'm wondering. The blue doesn't even interest me at all but, green is a totally different story. I can imagine it now. A chrome or Satin Black V2 with green LED. That would be NICE!

Come one Provape. Please make this happen and plus, it can be called the Evergreen state edition.

I pulled the trigger on a ProVari yesterday and to my surprise I was notified that it shipped today. The website said 7-10 days before it would ship. Now I'm stoked. I ordered 4 of the big batteries, two of the small batteries, the eGo adapter, some juice from Highbrow and vapor room some Bog's and some Ego 2.5-2.8ohm Stardusts.

I have some questions.

Do any of you run the Stardust on the ProVari. How do you like it. What voltage and what kind of mix do you run and what ohm Stardust are you using. I have heard really good things about the Stardust and also not so good things. Please only respond on this suibject if you have experience with the Stardust on the ProVari. I like the idea of the Stardust because it will not leak. I have been a dripper but don't like the hassle or the mess.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting back to vaping with a new device and new juices. Any advice you guys provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Update. Got it. This thing rocks!

Since the stardust came out I made my switch from ce2 and never looked back! The stardust is a great little atty, I like the 2.5-2.8 vaped on a lower voltage like 3.4 when the stardust is first filled up and really by the time i get half way through the cart I bump it up to like 3.5 or 3.6 and it is just perfect! but some different juices i use different volts for. and they are not too bad to rebuild. a lot of info here on how to do it. and now they have a 5ml tank stardust! WOW :) I love this stuff

I use these Stardusts on eGo batteries and with my liquids and they are great. It all depends on what type and kind of liquid you use with them. I have not tried them with my Provari... yet.

At this stage it looks like production models will be ready to ship in about 5-6 weeks. If this changes for better or worse, well keep you updated.

At some point in the near future there will be a limited number of prototypes going out as test loaners for people to try and give us feedback.

The ProVari will let you select voltages from 3.3volts to 6.0volts in 0.1 set increments (3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6...all the way up to 6.0volts).

It outputs a pulsed regulated voltage so every hit will be the same from start to finish regardless of if the battery is fresh off the charger or 70% used.

The ProVari houses a single 18500 battery with an option to purchase an extension tube that threads onto to the end and will take a 18650 battery.

We don’t have pictures just yet of the device, but well post those as we get closer.

The push button will have a frosted look and be semi transparent allowing you to see the indicator LED. The LED will alert you to the battery power left.

Green – Full battery

Yellow – Half way through battery

Red – Low, change battery soon

You will be able to toggle the LED ON/OFF for stealth mode.

You can turn the device off so no misfires in the pocket

Well keep you posted when more info is available as to the way you select the voltages and other features as they are available.

Answers to some of your questions:

Doesn’t a single battery only output 3.7volts?

We are using a special boost circuit that is able to pulse current at a very fast rate and bump up the voltage very efficiently.

Does the device need to be plugged into my computer to change voltages?

No, everything can be done on the device and there will be no computer connections. In a couple of weeks we will get into more details about how you change voltages and access the functions.

What about batteries?

The batteries we carry are the IMR High drain AW 18500 (actually they call it 18490) – 1100 Mah and the 18650 – 1600mah.

Can I use regular 18500/18650 not the High Drain batteries?

Yes, but in order to get the full voltage range you will need to use the high drain cell. Both of the cells we will offer will be IMR high drains.

What about non-IMR batteries?

Looks like the range for a regular non IMR battery will be 3.3V-5.2V. If you want to use the 5.3v-6v range you need to have an IMR high drain battery.

Stay tuned, there's a lot more to come….
