Nothing with a digital read out, but I know Kalamazoo Vapor Shop sells a VV box mod for $50 new. They make solid units. I'm using their Big Kazoo until my ProVari arrives.

I believe it goes all the way up to 7.4 volts.

They are out of stock right now, but I know James (the owner) regularly makes mods. He's famous for those Kazoos :p

Busy month for me- just catching up-
fwiw, I tried other back ups.... still have my phidias for a back up too, but it hardly gets used any more- the best backup is a second provari- nice to have a chrome and satin or black and satin etc - they pay for themselves soon enough. It isn't so much about having a backup because its broken, but at least once a week I put one down and forget where I left it. Having a second one makes life alot easier when you're rushing for the door and forgot exactly where you sat the one you were using...... and If for some reason I do need to send one back, it's nice knowing I still have the other as a backup.

As far as sturdy is concerned- I'm brutal on my satin provari- I did manage to break it once when I slammed it on a tile floor- the tile cracked, the provari flew apart and ended up needing a new pcb and a new end cap- other than that, I've dropped it numerous times getting out of cars, topling it over on the granite counter top - you have to look real close to find a scratch- Occasionally there have been a few runs where issues developed and ProVape has taken care of everyone.....

Hey jimho, I am sequestered in my office/den 90% of the time I'm at home, and I work at home a lot, so I don't lose my stuff.
Still I have 2 Vari's.
One has a Pyrex tubed Depth Charge tank with a Fusion SR carto. I swear, as far as vapor production and good flavor, and ease of use (no dripping) you just can't get better.
The other (both satin) is used for dripping, or whatever, like Gen Line, i06 attys, 510, 901, bridge-less whatever.
I have a couple Provari Power 2500 batts for one, and a bunch of IMR AW 18650's for the other.
I use the Sgt.ArmyII Evercool VV bottom feed for out the door.
Note how desirable these Vari's are; they sell in classy's fast, near cost and that's without the warranty (never can figure that out - but they do last long time! I've had one over a year now, works flawlessly)

Question for Provape:
If i would want my Provari to be re-painted...would that be possible?
For extra-charge, of course.

Regards,
mRzv
Since the finishes are warrantied, I'm sure they would do that type of work for non-warranty issues for a nominal fee. But I don't know for a fact....

When I first started out with my Ego I didn't think I would need/want anything else, but soon found myself with an Omega that has treated me well for quite a few months now. I want to get my Dad into vaping and decided the sturdiness of the Omega would be a great choice for him considering how rough he is on things. I figure he will appreciate the mechanical nature of it.

So obviously I had to get myself another device. I wanted great performance and something with a quality feel to it - as well as a well-known company that is going to stand by their product for a long time. The obvious choice was the Provari. Received my satin finish Provari with the 18650 end-cap, of course, yesterday in the mail and I can tell that this will be my main device for a long time. I doubt I will use the max voltage settings per my vaping preferences - so the other VV mods on the market with superior voltage didn't really interest me.

Thanks for getting my Provari to me so quickly! Now if only I can decide on what atty/carto combination I like best..

I want to say thanks to ProVape.
My sight glass on my black provari actually came dislodged.
I knew it was out of warranty (order #4101).
I emailed Provape about getting it repaired, very quick response.
I paid for shipping there and back, they installed new sight glass for free.
Had my map tank back on it in a week, looks like new again.
Thanks again for the great service.

Both of mine fell onto their top caps. On both, the battery's inertia drove the circuit board toward the top cap. Both still worked but the display was shifted in the window. It bugged me so I had to fix it.
ProVape provided instructions and now I don't have to worry about it again.

Thanks,
Lee

How did you fix it? On mine, the circuit board is a little loose. When I push the button, I can feel a small amount of movement.

Its the board. I can make it move with my finger when the battery is out.
I doubt that's the board. The button floats over the switch and has some play in its hole.
The board is a tight fit in its slots but can slide a little if you're clumsy, like me, and drop it just right.

Thanks,
Lee

WARNING: This will void your warranty!

I used a long pin punch to gently tap the top cap off. I alternated sides every couple of taps.
Next, I pushed the board back in place and put glue at the corners.
Finally, align the negative wire connector with the button and tap the top cap back on.
I let them set for almost 24 hours before using.
So far so good...

Thanks,
Lee
