#3062 here. I'm not worried. All of you people who have received your Provari's, all you Vaper's that have received your shipping notices,........I'm most likely getting some sort of special goody. What if the special goody is an extra Provari?!!!!:?: Then you'll wish you didn't get it until January!! Hahahahaha. I may be the real winner in this deal!!!!:laugh: January is just fine with me! Yes sir,....:2cool:
Actually I have it on good authority that the freeby is an invitatation to a dinner dance all expenses included (not including transport) to be held in Kabul :p

- it's "here" as in left honolulu this morning... for a half hour flight to kauai... my p.o. is closed tomorrow sunday of course..
so it will be "here" in my possession on monday... am i happy ? completely.
- am i ...... i will miss it by a hair, and thus have to wait an extra aprox.... 40 hours? NO.
- i also received today, my second Phidias which up to now is my favorite mod of all time and this one is the "latest version".

So my arsenal whittled down to a customized efficiency: 2 Phidiae, 1 usb eGo, and 1 ProVari....
(with a VapeMate standing by for the ProVari) ...

WHO IS the WINNING free PROVARI lucky one????
was that to be someone from the Pre-Order list? and will it be like announced when you get it? or when the Pre-Orders are all shipped and received? How many pre-orders are there vs. regular orders?
wasssupp?

Here's a question:

Lets say I find that 3.9V is my personal sweet spot for my 2.5ohm atty. I accidentally trash my atty and only have a 1.8ohm sitting around and I need something to vape on while I wait for a new atty. How do I calculate which voltage setting will closest replicate my 3.9V/2.5ohm experience? Is there a formula?

MonsterK,

Since I'm a Droid I don't have teeth like your's - And I'm glad.... They R scary choppers my friend:evil:

Received the NOTICE 'Your order has shipped. (Order#: 2957 placed on 11/14/2010)this morning at 3:33 AM. Hell I went to bed @ 3:20 AM :closedeyes:

Now we do the Postal dance - who will be the first person to receive tracking confirmation that USPS has your Vari in hand and on the way to you?

Merry Xmas to my 30 something group (2929...2958) and Happy New Year to the Next over 30 group (2959...?)

Your current power is 6.084 Watts 3.9V & 2.5 ohms

Your new setting for voltage will be 3.30V & 1.8 ohms = 6.084 Watts
I understand that this may be the lower voltage limit for the Provari - if true you will be fine...

Calculate Volts

To calculate the circuit voltage...
The formula is V = I x R or,
V = (W x R)2 or,
V = W / I

To calculate the circuit power...
The formula is W = V x I or,
W = I2 x R or,
W = V2 / R

To calculate the circuit amperage...
The formula is I = V / R or,
I = W / V or,
I = (W / R)2

To calculate the circuit resistance...
The formula is R = V / A
R = V2 / W or,
R = W / I2

Note the resistance of the atty you are using and the juice. So when you put on a new atty look for one that is similar in resistance and use the same voltage or tweak the voltage to get to where you were before ie the sweet spot.I intend to keep a book of results ie juices and attys at certain voltages. Mind you the quality control on attys carto's leaves a lot to be desired. So adjustments will be required. But hey that is what the Provari does and is all about. Make a few notes and you wont be far away from the sweet spot :p

Yes. The formula is V^2/R. 3.9x3.9/2.5= 6.08 Watts. A 1.8 Ohm atty at 6.08 watts needs 3.3V.

Doh, Steve and I posted at same time.

Good answer mate and I dont understand half of it. If only every bottle of juice and every atty and carto was the same standard. But the Provari is gonna go a long way to sort these problems.
