OK, stupid question while I wait on my ProVari....

I have two chargers, a WF-139 and a WF-188. The 188 model has a switch on the side you can set for 300mAh and 650mAh. Does this mean that the batteries will only charge to 650mAh? The WF-188 is suppose to be the better model but I don't get the purpose for that switch.

Thanks.

No, use the 650mAh setting. You'll get fully charged batteries in less time.

Jingle bells
ProVape sells
The Vari pulls away
Oh what fun
It is to watch
The modders gawk and say
"Hey!"

Jingle bells
ProVape sells
Pre-orders stack-up
The vendors suck
Cause they can't keep-up
I heard one mutter ".......k"
Hey!

Jingle bells
ProVape sells
The future owners win
If you missed it
There's no sin
Do not have a fit
Hey!

Jingle bells
ProVape sells
Now's the time to buy
Get on the net
And get in line
It'll be here before July!

Sorry, couldn't figure out a good rhyme for February (one too many JD's tonight). Merry Christmas ProVape, ProVari owners and my fellow wait-listers! Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

:thumb:Well I now have my ProVari in hand... It was worth the wait and it is everything they promised it would be.

Thanks to the ProVape folks for getting this thing to the market, thanks to the beta testers for such great feedback once you got them and extra special thanks to the waitlisters that waited until AFTER I ordered mine to jump in, thus making mine arrive in time for Christmas.:vapor:

I have had my provari for quite sometime now and still love it. I have not touched any of my other PV's. Provape ROCKS.

You're killin me here! My ProVari is now being shipped, and I CAN NOT WAIT!

By the way... have any of you been following the thread on the, um, other variable voltage device with digital display?

Not sure if I'm prohibited from mentioning a competing device on the ProVape forum, and I certainly do NOT want to do anything against the rules, or that would be frowned upon by the ProVape guys... they have been great, so I'd rather err on the side of caution.

They've announced the price for this, um, other VV PV, and it's going to sell for $229, batteries and charger included.

Still, that makes the ProVari's price seem downright reasonable! (Hey... I never personally had a problem with the price. For the quality, features, etc. of the ProVari, I think it's a bargin!)

Not knocking the other PV. It also looks like a sweet mod, and competition is always good, and keeps vendors on their toes!

Man... I can not WAIT to get my ProVari already!

Happy Holidays to ProVap crew and eveyone else!

the proVari gets huge points for not only having all the features it does; heads and shoulders above anything as far as i know; and the fact that it is in hand, up and in production... all first class... way before anyone else... really sets the standard.
It proves that it can be done, and done right.

Dreams do come true.!

The ProVari... First 24 hours

The 18650 lasted me from 8:45pm until 9:30pm the following day... With 7 hours off for sleep and about an hour of doing "other things", I would safely say I went 16 hours on this bad boy with a pure smoker 3.4 ohm carto. I vaped about 9ml of 12mg diy menthol in that time. The battery did not fully cut off, I changed it about 10 minutes into the blinking and the battery was at 3.4v when I changed for a fresh one.

The vape was consistent from start to finish, and the fresh battery was exactly the same as the nearly spent cell. With that carto I've settled in at 4.2 volts, and it packs a punch without burning up the atty, even as it starts getting a little dry.

It's an amazing device, clearly the best I have used and I have had a lot of PVs, this is the best of the best so far. I have another vv device and a few at 5v and 3.7v as well. The other vv performs great, with a bit narrow range of settings available, but the fit and finish of the ProVari is in a class by itself. Yep, this one costs more, and I certainly feel I got what I paid for.

I appreciate industrial looking devices, and there are certainly plenty of them on the market that look like the products of high end machine shops... The ProVari doesn't have that look... It looks more like a top shelf piece of high end hifi gear, ala Bang&olufsen, Mark Levenson or Threshold... Or perhaps even a classy bit of high end medical equipment... Again, it's in a class all by itself.

For anybody trying to decide if this PV is right for you, I would have to say get off the fence and order it... It's not cheap by any means, but it IS a bargain for what it is, and even though you might complain about the price initially, the complaints will stop right there... The first toot is impressive, when the second one is exactly like the first, you'll start to understand... By number twenty or thirty you'll get it... At the moment there isn't a PV on the market that does what this does, and I've had many of them... I'm done with mechanical mods and the declining vape syndrome... Consistency is where it's at.

This things the best of the best, and man... The bar is set HIGH for the next device.... Really really really high.

Right on Zen! I just wish all those that post in other threads about "all mechanical" being the best units out there "because there is nothing to break" could each take 20 - 30 pulls off mine. Happy Vapes and me and my ProVari are on our way up to Killington to do some storm skiing!!!!!! Yeeeeeee HaaaaaaW

I agree, I don't have mine in hand yet though.
The big thing for me is going back to cartos or dripping.
I am not sure it will be my full time device because I love my bottom feeding mods.

I put about 8ml a day through my REO, I can imagine doing that much dripping in a day.
And cartos .... ehhh.

Come on ProVape and get these internals in a top notch bottom feeder.... Then you will have the ultimate PV!
