I by no means was saying that is doesn't .... I just remember past convos stating that there was a reservoir.... Waiting on vape360 or fmx's response...

Yes, there is a reservoir, so extra juice would collect in there and you can easily clean it out with a papertowel.

Not exactly Jim,

Your reference to calling up Ford probably does not fit all that well considering published statistics suggest the TOP 50 purveyors of auto parts in the US exceeds 25,000 locations alone. Within the walls of the suppliers one will find not only nuts and bolts but extremely detailed publications that define the inner workings, care and feeding and operational details for the consumer.

More to the point:

Consumers (not necessarily us) can purchase a vaping device for $30.00 or less for TWO devices. Read; throw away. And would you not agree that these consumers generally would not show up here within the forums reading thousands of messages, untold hours of research or spending in excess of $200.00 for a mod (Vaping Device). Of course not.

Many tags could define us, gadgeteers, modders, super vapers, hobbyists, ultimate thrill seekers, people with more money then brains, bit & byte junkies, hardware freaks, but generic consumers - NO.

We are here because it appears that David has created an ultimate device (ProVari) with superior quality potential. We are here because this is a rather unique and pleasant change in direction and technology for the vaping/mod community wherein 'look mom no wires and it has a computer inside to' but batteries not included.

Suddenly reality kicks in and we start to ask ourselves what if's...

What if David gets hit by a bus? Of course we pray that no one ever gets hit by a bus - Can we fix our BIG investment.

What if one wants to fine tune some function or feature? Can we do it?

What if it breaks or malfunctions? Can we fix it ourselves, get parts, painfully send it away to a mod hospital for a repair procedure?

Would you now agree that your fellow dedicated vapers and forum members are asking the right questions? Yes we do care how it does something...

Regards & Vape Responsibly :vapor:

Hi Ren,

If I get hit by a bus, then one of the other team members will certainly continue the ProVari. I hope you guys would all attend the funeral and bring your ProVari as vaping is allowed during the event

Besides all the custom hardware needed to program the chip and that we are not setup to provide modders who tweak the code with technical support. There are also a lot of parameters that could be messed up if not done properly. If you tweaked the wrong code and fry the unit, then its going to get even more expensive. I think the majority of folks out there would rather just use the device and enjoy the features that it has.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but its just not going to be that kind of product, but it will do what it was designed to do and do it very well!

Great,

I certainly have no issue with your company policy or direction in handling code, updates etc.

My previous post points out asking questions and having an interest is normal and should be expected - case in point, it seems we all have an invitation should something unforeseen occur?¿? I luv ur response, only a true vaper would respond that way. :)

Thanks for clearing one concern up, ie your operation is larger then a one person shop.

Regards,

Ren

ps David - Do u expect to have preorders in folks hands prior to xmas?

Order number 2994,

Didn't think about it when I order but than I timed my vapes and I was surprised that I routinely take 20 second vapes.

So I just wondered if the 16 second time out was going to be adjustable for those of us who like long and mellow?

Thanks cant wait to try it out.

20sec vapes!!!! Wow lol. I would assume if you could let go of the button for a split second you could prob pull a nice 32 second vape outta that ProVari!?!? Unless the ProVari would shut off due to extreme temp......?

Yep kind of shocked myself as well. I didn't think it was that long until I timed it.
I'm cheating just a little bit 3.7v standard cartomizer and no nic, plus a very low TH juice. It's actually kind of nice the juice changes flavor from the start to the end with a nice little TH just when I finish.

I know I can release and repress but was just wondering if there was going to be an option to change the timeout.
I imagine might also end up with shorter vapes if I go to a higher voltage.

My first reaction was-
You normally inlale 2x a minute? You should try letting go of the button between breaths.

Then I tried it....
so I guess you breath through your nose and take a long draw to fill your mouth with vapor....
not sure what you're using right now, but you will probably find the vapor production is alot more substantial when you use a full powered device.
