That's pretty cool...my grandfather retired from NASA in 1979...he smoked like a Saturn Rocket!!! LOL!!!

*sigh* well, mine shipped on the 25th and has 'passed through the Kent, WA sort facility' as of yesterday. This means it's going to land 'somewhere' in SC at 'sometime', where it will immediately be strapped to a horse and buggy for the remainder of its journey to the beach.

I may control a lot of things, but the USPS is beyond my control! Lol!
Previous posts have indicated that the post office site doesn't update on the shipments. Lots of people find it in their mailbox, even when the site shows the last scan still in WA. I'm hoping mine shows up tomorrow too!
I've actually had packages show up in my mailbox and the post office saying only "Electronic information received." Sometimes they blow at updating tracking info. But, still, can't complain about the speed and price of priority mail.
Lol... I know what you mean about the USPS. I do a lot of business on eBay, and I use them for most of my US-based sales.
Their IT systems sure aren't as real time as most other domestic carriers.

When I purchase Delivery Confirmation at my local post office they ALWAYS point out... "This is NOT delivery Tracking... it is delivery CONFIRMATION... Once the item has been delivered, the site updates within 24 hours."
OCCASIONALLY it updates travel status... but that is very rare.
Bummer...my mail comes late...keeping the faith till then...otherwise prolly tomorrow.
