nno thanks; i got too much flooding with those bottom feeders...

i am very picky about my vape... i'd rather drip than anything, and if the deep well prevents flooding in any way, then all the better.
Agree that nothing beats dripping (preferably on a 306) but i was using this atty that wouldn't hold any juice and i didn't master the VM and was making a mess...
i added a rubber plunger from a syringe that i drilled a hole on it but it messed up the airflow but i do think it be a good addition. (i just wanna buy more stuff)

I tend to keep them near flooded and frequently end up with some juice in the well, but it always ends up back in the atty.....

I haven't noticed it going back in the atty, because I clean mine up asap to eliminate messes.

I am able to get up to 5 or 6 drips in my 901 atty without leakage into the well if i want to, and of course the power management of the Vari takes care of it nicely.

I have those 1/2 oz. needle bottles from Racers-edge.com and that corresponds to about 3:1 drips (15 to 16 drips = 5 or 6 normal bottle drops.

Question: How to identify your unit ?

Is there an internal code or mark somewhere, serial number to identify a ProVari unit?

Not trying to frustrate those waiting for there's but I have 2 Vari's and I CAN NOT tell the difference between the two... I had marked with a permanent marker on the cap of one of them, but it wore right off.
For warranty purposes, I just wonder if and where the serial number could be found...

Another Update Please

Did you see the following post? (post #3265 on page 327, Dated 3/23/2011)

We are currently waiting on parts to arrive from a vendor scheduled for Monday. So in a couple of days lots more shipments going out and we can catch up with those who are at the three week wait. This next batch going out is a large one so we plan to put a sizeable dent in the pending orders. Once the parts arrive and they look good well let you know how far into the order numbers we get.

I would look for an update by at least the middle of next week. I hope it includes my order number with alot of others too.

Can you give us an update confirming that you did receive the expected shipment today (Monday) and whether you're still on track to knock out the 3 week waiting list this week as stated in the your previous post?

Thank you for your reply in advance.

Edit to add:

Although. He did state the following: "Once the parts arrive and they look good well let you know how far into the order numbers we get".

I quess I'm not very patient.

But I mean come on.

It's a ProVari I'm waiting for!

ive been wondering, and maybe this is a dumb question, but in what incriments do the order numbers go? like if your on 5550, and someone makes an order, is their number gonna be 5551? or does it go some other way, like in incriments of 5, or ten?
Another Update Please

Just a quick question. Is there a way to customize or rearrange the sequence of the menu? For example, if I would like the Power On/Off option to be the first option on the menu, is there a way to get that done? Thanks.

There's nothing in the documentation about doing that. I've not stumbled into anything like that by accident. I'm guessing they would have to program it differently for you before it shipped. Whether or not they would..... (?) How much money ya got? <giggle> Before I end this message, I wish to stipulate that this message, in no way, constitutes 'love'.:?:

LOL! Maybe just a little bit of love? :)

Thanks a lot for your post, it's greatly appreciated! I've been vaping for over a year yet I'm a total VV MOD virgin. This will be my first experience with something other than an all-mechanical PV. I'm grateful for any guidance and advice I receive.

One more question, if you don't mind. If I set the Provari at 4.2V with a 2.0 ohm atty, will I be getting 4.2V under load or will the actual voltage under load drop down to 3.8-3.9V the way it does on mechanical PVs? Thanks in advance...

what you set is what you get :) regardles of the load... unless of course you overload it... then you'll get an E2 in the display .. 4.2V with a 2 ohm atty is fine...

That's awesome! Thanks for the answer. So then, the Provari set at 4.2V will hit harder than an all-mechanical 3.7V device with a freshly charged "3.7V" battery that's metering at 4.2V, right?

I tested one of my Reos with an AW 2200mah 18650 in it with an IKV LR2.0 306, and under load it was pushing 4.04v, with a hot off the charger battery, so comparing a fresh "big boys" batt to the Provari at 4.2v, may not seem like a huge leap, but an hour down the road, the Grand would only be pushing 3.8xv underload, and the Provari will still be pushing 4.2. Thats the beauty of this beast, it does what you want it to...all the time

Fantastic! That's what I was hoping to discover.

Thank you all for helping me out!
