The Black is so nice, I'm so glad I waited for it. Nothing against the other colors, but I think the Black is the best.

I agree, black looks cool, however, like a black vehicle, if it gets dirty or scratched it shows EVERYTHING. I got a satin grey Provari and a Billet Grey Charger... As a matter of fact i had a Black charger picked out and papers drawn up on it and changed my mind for that very reason. All in all, it comes down to preference! Like mama always told me " Its whats on the inside that counts" ;)

I used to have a black car. I will never own one again. But you can't compare a car to this small device. I don't know how tough the black Provari
Finnish is yet, but I don't think it will scratch easily.

Your right, the Provari is made from SS and cars are made of plastic lol!

I would guess the black Vari is not a shiny black, or am i wrong?
I have a couple sort of matte black pv's and believe me, they don't show any nicks, scratches or marks at all....

I have always gone back to dripping after stints with cartos/bottom feeders/ haven't tried tanks yet.
Dripping is the most sure way to get the most out of the flavor imo.
I use bottle/needle setups and a Pyrex drip tip.
I swear by Pyrex d/t....

that said, i do have an iatty coming. and a couple Genesis mods too

The Black Provari is shiny. Black Chrome shiny. Have you tried any CE2's?

no Ce2's ... after reading the snafu's with them when they first came out.. at the time they came out i was happy with dripping...

dripping takes a pretty long learning curve, in my case... i put it away for bottom feeders and found the vape was too inconsistent; lots of flooding and dripping is the best way to control exactly how much juice is on the coil... when Dual Coils came out i tried them and also Fusion cartos... but still, taste is not as good

I tell people to keep at it (dripping)... as an excercise every now and then.. eventually it'll all click. I almost never have a mess on my hands anymore.

gotvapes has a vision cartomizer that's a hopped up ce2 on steroids red bull 5 hour energy etc works well with 100 vg and a
provari can add the icing to the cake. i have dripped and used these side by side and the flavor is so close but the vapor is twice as much. try them a little more expensive but i have used the first one for a month the clear tubes will crack in due time but a 5ml syringe and a #11 o ring will turn into a cheap mans map tank.

progress moves on...
- as of now, for drippers the complaints are in the atomizer dept. they don't last me more than a week (chain vaper).
- the rebuildables are coming out now: iatty, genesis etc
- thanks to you folks newer and better carto/tank mods are being designed.

- there are bottom feeder pvs and even top feeders
- a telescopic that can use any and all batts
- regulated variable power pv's like the provari +!

Lots and lots to try and more to discover.
the "mister"
Ce2 deluxe from gotvapes... i have a couple Sapphires that i don't like.

the iatty will be keeping me busy for now... and i have 50 dse 901 attys i got from a bulk vendor.

i have about 20 used attys of various types that could use a good washing... lol.

Some are digging the iatty on the Provari too.

at this point because i am happy with dripping, the only thing that would entice me is the hope that some of these things will provide unheard of volumes of vapor... either that or jack up the nic volume...lol.

I was told that CE2's get the same taste as dripping. My first experience with CE2's were the rev 5's. I love them in tubes and more in tanks. Ukeman, I think that you would like them.

Not even close. CE2's are convenient, and are easy to make tanks with. The same taste as dripping though, no.

@ukeman
This is the result of a VPX tank modded to use a regular 510 atomizer. Tons of flavor as well, equal in quality to dripping, but look at all the vapor.

Woot!

Just got my Provari 2 days ago.. (satin finish, 5 days from order to receiving it)

One seriously awesome mod. I'm an EE by trade, and a geek by nature, so all the displayed info is *awesome* to have on-device.

Battery measurement, and atty resistance while UNDER LOAD? Brilliant!

One top-notch product. I'm sure it will be a consistent friend of mine for a while. (a LONG while)

One question tho, for those that may know.. I get a couple E8 errors every once in a while (usually while fidgeting with the atty while I vape)

According to the PDF, E8 is: "Converter has detected a fault -- Contact ProVape if this persists."

Im curious as to 1) What (in ProVape lingo) exactly is the converter.. The boost circuit (DC-DC converter?) and 2) What kind of fault conditions in said circuit will trigger an E8?

I work with slightly higher power systems (250KVA+ transformers, and systems that run 10,000+A at 10V or less) so I'm a little lost with some of the lingo in these smaller systems :)

Oh, also, a diehard dripper here too.. Unfortunately, I find myself recently commuting ~90 miles a day, on a lot of back roads.. No time to really drip.. Been experimenting with cartos, CE2, and a couple tanks, still cant find that magic bullet. Flavor, and TH of dripping, in a way that can last me an hour or two without refilling.. :(

I'll keep looking tho.. How are the drippers liking the iatty, and / or liquinator?

Thanks again for the ProVari.. I'm in serious hog heaven.. Excellent device so far.

Dripper here as of 10 minutes ago... woot! I am not the first to get an iatty on their Vari but i was sweatin it out putting the the coil together.
Got a 2.8 Ohm coil and vaping at 4.4v right now... a little airy but great taste!!!
I hear theres an o ring fix for that if you don't like airy... like a Canon Iken 801 ... lots of vapor.
so far so good.

Genesis attys on the way.
