Got my Sophia rewicked with cotton. Once I got past the initial nasty taste thing of a new wick, I like it. And no sensitive to it, either. That is a good thing. Maybe I will get inspired some time to do a microcoil and cotton on my kayfun, too.

Now, I just have to wait on our tax refund to get some more.

On my 1st 2 ProVaris, which I got from ProVape, I got the extended endcap at the same time, so it would be of the same color lot. The 3rd one, black, I got on the classies. I do not have the extended endcap because it came with the Twins, instead.

So, here is my question. Has anyone ordered the extended endcap later on, and noticed a color difference? Or, would it maybe not matter so much with the color black?

I ordered a black end cap for my well used black mini.

It is not another color, but it looks different because it does not show the same amount of wear as the body.
In time I expect it to catch up.

You could always go for "contrast". Get a polished or satin silver end cap.

(Or maybe that poor lonely purple one that's been on the clearance page for a year. LOL)

I got a polished end cap for it because I thought it would look cool. I have the satin silver one, too. And the Twins. And Tatroe rings in SS and brass, and a Cingulum Completo in brass. So, I have choices if I don't get the black one.

If you boil the cotton first, the nasty taste goes away in a few minutes, rather than a half hour. That's how it is for me anyways.
Now I try to time new builds right before bedtime, so the wick gets to soak up juice overnight before it gets used.

When that gets set, there will be a very slight learning curve on moderation tools, at least enough to get you started. Congratulations!!! This is very exciting.

I boiled it this time, so when I rewick today, we will be able to see the difference/improvement.

Not so. I was up at 10am Tuesday, then I slept from 11am Wednesday to 4am Thursday, then about 4:30am Thursday to 10am Thursday. I'd like to go to sleep now, since I have tons of stuff to do today, but it's not happening. Grrr.
