Is this a fairly recent development? He used to send messages and sign them, "Mike".

    Crazy vapers?

    Are there any other kind.

    :laugh::blush:
Here is the post and where his stuff is available.

So what is Mike (Zen) up to these days? Not making more mods?

    (response on thread)
I intentionally used Zen because I know that is his preference. If you want to buy one of his mods they are available on The ZFO.

Thanks, Rosie. I'll remember that if paths cross again.

And now I am more confused than ever.

From pretty much since the first day after he sold it, the ZFO it seemed to be stocked with whatever Zen had already produced and still had on the shelves. The latest things I've seen there have been really old designs, like the old DX mech tubes that were sold forever. And when there seemed to be new configurations for the Kabuki I only remember seeing them on the HoH page.

I still can't remember the names, but one of them was described as having more room for the newer BVC coils including the .7s. Since the P3 and Z2 Kabuki could always do that, I wasn't sure if it was a new machining profile or just clearing stocks of the unsold P3 and including the adaptor. Seems like the other was machined to offer more airflow than what we were used to. But, as I mentioned earlier, both of those updates are no longer showing on the HoH page.

So for me, from the name to the products it's turned into a riddle wrapped in an enigma.

I've seen some gorgeous stuff on there but I'm not gonna spend that much on mech or use it consistently, although maybe I SHOULD now that I've destroyed a radius amirite?

The next logical progression sounds like a tube with a battery and a Kabuki on top? LOL.

I'd still need my damn adapter I think? At least it's titanium I will know when I have found it.

I was not a Zen fan, for me his stuff was over rated and over priced. I have a Kabuki bought in the original frenzy and didn't understand the enthusiasm after I used it.

Well, that assessment could probably be applied to many things vape. I agree that it was a bit over-hyped, but it is a very high quality Nautilus tank, with more airflow control options, and should last a very long time. The only two Nauti tanks I have left (and throw into use sometimes) are my two Kabukis.

Both are 510, and one of them is a GMZ. They'll be here when I die.

He has very loyal customers, no doubt about that.

He's a good guy, who has done a tremendous amount for the industry (and got a lot back too). His obsession with killing off 510 connectors notwithstanding.

I can only figure that a 510 connector ran off with one of his girlfriends (or something).

Well, I could see the Provari connector, it seemed stronger and a better product. But the 510 was and remained the industry standard, it kind of reminds me of Beta-Max and VHS, the better format lost out.

In this case, "seemed" is the operative word.

Turns out, they were exactly opposite. :(

I did not know that, well, my BetaMax analogy failed completely.

But it was an excellent one, if things had played out the way they were supposed to.

Yeah. The P3 connectors are the proverbial Achilles' Heel. Too bad too.
