I detest ties. I’d rather lose. At least I’d have an emotion. Getting punched by your sister is more thrilling than getting kissed by her.

Being a Lions fan, there is one good thing about this game. Normal Lions seasons start with optimism and they tease us just enough to start thinking they may be turning the corner. One way or another, they typically falter and flop. Today we tasted the teasing potential for three quarters before hitting the toilet. (A moldy one at that.) A microcosm of a normal Lions season, all wrapped up in one day. Maybe I can just look away and find other things to do on Sunday afternoons.

I know we should be satisfied with winning the NFL championship in 1957 but after 62 years...at least I can DIY my liquid.

Lifelong Bears fan here. While we do have one more Superbowl title than the Lions in my lifetime, the results beyond that one title has been nothing less than dismal. Last year my Bears gave away yet another game away to the Packers early in the season. That was it for me. Been a diehard Bears fan for 50+ years. I’m done with them. They are dead to me until the McCaskey’s sell the team. Because that wont happen it appears I’m done for life. But that’s OK because they will not win another title as long as that dreadful family owns that team. The Halas dynasty started with Papa Bear and ended with Papa Bear. All his kids are weenies.

I did not "watch" American Idol. I analyzed it for societal trends and like, some other stuff. Plus, it's always entertaining to watch musical genius be butchered

Did I post the dude who tried to sing "Dream ON?" I think the only thing that could make it more embarrassing would be if like Steve Tyler were a judge at the time. He wasn't. I'm sure he heard about it.

Mindhunter: SEASON TWO IS HERE. They promised, and now they are delivering.

I'm holding off until the end of "Meredith Gray" although Grey's Anatomy has become one of those legacy shows where they tie the actors in basements between season so they can't quit afte season 25 because the fans REFUSE to let it go,

I wonder what that is like as an actor. It's gotta be? I don't even know at least you have job security.
