A note from the owners

We are very saddened to announce that we are in the process of closing our business due to ongoing and upcoming regulation, ever increasing costs, and the demonization of our industry by politicians and the press. Since 2012 we have worked very hard to provide the highest quality products to our adult customers who were using it as a substitute for combustion cigarettes. Both of us, the owners of ProvariFuel.com, have had close family members whose lives were seriously altered and ultimately lost because of the long term use of combustion smoking. Our hope is to lessen the chances that others have to go down that path.

We will miss doing this work and providing you, our loyal customers, with the products you have known and hopefully loved for so many years. It is our sincere hope that you continue to pursue vaping with other high quality companies and do not return to smoking combustion cigarettes.

Our shutdown phase is currently in process and there will be changes that impact you as a customer. We do not know the exact timing of when we will close our doors, but it will be at most a few months and perhaps much less. During this time we will continue to work hard for you and we will not sacrifice product quality. Here are some basic changes you can expect:

  • Shipping times for your order may be 7 days or longer.
  • As we run out our raw material supply chains we will be discontinuing specific flavors. Once we remove a flavor it will no longer be available for purchase.
  • We will not be accepting any NEW customers. Our goal is to provide our existing loyal customers the best service and to focus on them. Any first-time customer order will be deleted and not filled.

It has been a true pleasure having you as a customer and we thank each and every one of you who has used our products during the past 8 years.

If you choose to "stock up" prior to our closing

Many customers have asked us how to "stock up" on their favorite ProvariFuel flavor. We highly recommend that you purchase bulk flavors and keep them in your freezer for long term storage. The bottles we use for bulk purchases are stronger than our 30ml bottles, so that when they get buried in your freezer they are much less likely to leak. Please store your bottles inside of a sealed plastic bag, like the ones we send them in, before placing them in the freezer. We cannot tell you how long the juice will last in the freezer but customers have told us that freezer storage is a great method to keep the juice fresh for a very long time.

What about a Federal Ban on Flavors?
Currently there is no Federal flavor ban by the current Administration, although it is being actively discussed. If and when there is a Federal ban on flavors we will comply with the law and all flavors not in compliance with the law will be removed. The current discussion is that only Tobacco flavors will be allowed. If you are worried about the ban you might want to get your favorite flavor now. Once again, we are closing and running out our supply chain on flavors as we speak. Even without a ban please expect that our flavor portfolio will change as we run out.

THANK YOU!

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding the ban I have ordered on flavored nicotine vaping products. I truly appreciate hearing from Michiganders from across the state and the opportunity to respond.

On Wednesday, September 11, the Trump administration announced that they were following in Michigan's footsteps to ban flavored e-cigarettes. I'm glad this administration is doing the right thing to protect our kids and our overall public health. This is a bold step that will keep our kids healthy and safe from the harmful effects of vaping. I'm proud that Michigan has been a leader on this issue, and I'm ready to continue working to protect our kids and our public health.

State agencies may develop and implement emergency rules whenever there is an emergency that endangers public health, safety, or welfare. (MCL 24.248.) After Michigan's Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, confirmed that youth vaping constitutes a public health emergency, I ordered the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to issue emergency rules to ban the sale of flavored nicotine vaping products in retail stores and online and ban misleading marketing of vaping products, including the use of terms like "clean," "safe," and "healthy" that perpetuate beliefs that these products are harmless. I have also ordered the Michigan Department of Transportation to enforce an existing statute to prohibit the advertisement of vapor products on billboards. These bold steps will finally put an end to these irresponsible and deceptive practices and protect Michiganders' public health.

We have seen an explosive increase in the number of Michigan kids exposed to vaping products. From 2017 to 2018, e-cigarette use spiked 78% among high school students and 48% among middle school students. These products can contain harmful chemicals that put our kids' health at risk. As governor and a parent, my number one priority is keeping our kids safe. Right now, companies are selling vaping products that use candy flavors to hook children on nicotine and using misleading claims to promote the belief that these products are safe. Nearly 90% of smokers start using nicotine before the age of 18 and 81% of youth e-cigarette users start with a flavored product. This makes the substantial surge of youth using flavored nicotine vape products a preventable public health crisis.

MDHHS will be taking a number of actions to make sure people understand how to comply. There is a website with additional information, which you can find at www.michigan.gov/ecigarettes <MDHHS e-cigarette Information> . Also, the MDHHS tobacco section has created a retailers' packet that includes FAQ's about compliance with the emergency rules. Along with local health departments, they plan to conduct regional meetings with retailers to answer questions about the emergency rules.

In June of this year, I made it known that recent legislation put forth by the legislature did not go far enough to protect Michigan's kids from nicotine addiction. I was clear that the marketing, packaging, and taste of e-cigarettes amounted to a bait-and-switch engineered to create new nicotine addicts. Our kids deserve leaders who are going to fight to protect them, and it's my responsibility to ensure that these dangerous marketing tactics are put to an end.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write. On January 1, 2019, I took an oath to serve the state of Michigan, and I am committed to building bridges from state government to real Michiganders. Please do not hesitate to contact my office at (517) 335-7858, should you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Gretchen Whitmer
Governor of Michigan

Yeah? Well, guess what? Aside from having a draconian governor, vaping IS NOT considered a tobacco product in the State of Michigan. Our legislators took care of that PURPOSLEY. We can open carry any firearm we damn well please and we can have 12 plants PLUS 10 oz. of you know what. We can even have 2.5 oz on us when we are out and about! I say Michigan is the best damn state in the Union and you can't have our water (for free)! AND... when I was healthy, Detroit was my favorite vacation spot! Talk about the home of Rock And Roll....
I'll let you haters have the last word because wherever you live, sucks worse then it does here!

Well, what with all the bad news Today, I just had to go and add to it by misplacing (I say misplacing because the alternative is too much to bear) my Ti p3 at work.

On the upside, I found Two Ti p3, a Ghost Radius 60W, and a Ti Granite Kabuki, all of which I forgot I even had, while putting together a new set up for Tomorrow.

And there is a pretty good chance the missing p3 will turn up at work, right where I left it at the end of the night.

Hopefully.

So, now we begin to see the extent of the problem.

Who knows what lurks, down below the Euphotic Zone, in the stygian depths of the vape stash.
