Culturally, I have no CLUE what is going on.

But the answer is probably "14 year old teen boys" to many things. LOL.

You know they are getting serious about the wimmin when it stops smelling like socks and starts smelling like the male equivalent of a French perfumery only much, much cheaper.

That is when as a mom, you must become vigilant.

LOL my kid reminds me of my strident "sex talks" (I should do a Ted Talk I'm so good at it but they wouldn't let me I don't think) when I demand my grandkid. He's like "MOM how quickly things change."

He is sort of Not Into Kids right now. I guess it is normal but I am worried the only way it can happen is like, if he does it accidentally and I have INNOCULATED him from doing that completely, like, "Bring your own condom ALWYS some of these crazy chicks poke holes in condoms, DON'T believe anyone who insists they are on birth control they probably AREN'T etc."

I did ask him recently (this visit maybe?) If he had had unprotected sex. He states he has not.; It took all my restraint to not say,, "Um... .maybe perhaps you should try it?"

ON a happier vaping note, he has been formally appointed to Corporate Sales Manager at a well know battery and stuff sale emporium and fixer district. I should ask him about button tops. I bet I could incorporate for ECF..

This is his third job as it so happens! I am a proud mommy. I think he's going to do awesome without a college degree. That child was born for retail sales, and he should start making pretty DECENT money. Of course, I did not raise him as a Snowflake so in his generation, well, it's like In the Land of the Blind the One Eyed Man is King or whatever.

Businesses are DYING for entry level folks they can promote, mot fire. It's really fascinating.

Alex, what is 1 + 1?

Math was never my specialty, but without resorting to Google, methinks the answer is:

"2"

Vaping advocates gear up to fight Trump proposed ban on flavors

“People who voted for Trump felt he supported the free market, small businesses, consumer choice. And now he’s going to preside over the most massive dismantling of an industry pretty much ever. And it’s pretty much betrayal,” Woessner said.

State-level group leaders, in addition to members of national groups such as the CASAA, also anticipate a shift in votes from Trump to a candidate who will support vaping rights. Stacey Hamilton, president of the Breathe Easier Alliance of Alabama, is one of many at the state level encouraging member vaping businesses in her state to contact Alabama lawmakers about a possible flavor ban.

“Vapers are one-issue voters. I am a member of the LGBT community and I would vote more middle-of-the-road on issues,” Hamilton told the Washington Examiner. “I voted for Donald Trump. I will not vote for him if this flavor ban happens.”

I can't be a single issue voter. The fractures in the country are so great, so hostile that as I read the news and even ECF posts I am not certain that the fractures can be healed or the hostility dampened. Collectively we are in for a rough ride and vaping is but a minuscule problem in the midst of far bigger stakes.

The one thing that struck me about ecigs from the start is the community, bonded together by something we have in common. The first vape meetup I went to had people of all types spanning at least 50 years in age sharing a meal, some liquid flavors and laughing together.

Things will improve when we can focus on what we have in common. Our enemies within and without want us to focus on our differences.
