I saw the tweet, and actually tilted my head a bit at the time. Partially for the timing, and partially for the comment itself (seriously?). Anyways...
My best guess was/is that he hadn't noticed that TWH had already made an announcement. In all fairness, it was done with very little fanfare, and I just happened upon it myself. In fact, I believe I commented here that I wasn't even 100% certain that was all there was (or would be).
It's entirely possible that they decided to do it quickly and quietly as a result of incoming calls. I expect that we'll never know for sure.

Couldn't resist. Man that take on me cover was lovely. It made me cry, actually. I love it when songs can do that. I no longer have "Fear of tears" or is it" Tears for fears" I will cry at a drop of a hat. Like, as a teen, my mom would have these hysterical fits and I was like, "Whelp, if that is what crying is I am not DOING it, Ever." So I did not cry for 10 years and my spiritual mommy/therapist like, had to retrain me, she would make me watch sappy movies, and songs and I'm sure that song would have been SUPER helpful.

I have had ANOHER new experience, getting written up at work. I SWEAR like ,this jo is just offering new experience after new experience. I will not get into the gory details, but I did miss some call ins at work. So I am on an "Performance improvement" plan for that. Which, ,EVIL DOC, who committed (witnessed) offenses of behavior which should have resulted in an instant firing, got 3 months of improvement and I get 6?
I can't decide if they are being nice in not firing me, or if they are like hoping I will crack under the pressure or whatever. I have about 4 alarms and the husband decided it was unwise to sell the house, so I guess we are going to see. The husband is here ,which I think is good for both of us. Mainly. And, well, Christmas freaking SUCKED, and it's been gloomy this week. Other stuff has happened.
The thing I am most annoyed about is not the eventual outcome. It will be what it will be. There's nothing I can do besides my part, but up until this time, I have been SUPER happy at my job, and this is despite ALL the horrible things which have happened. I hope this does not push me over the edge. Being happy at my job matters more to me than how/when/if I can sue, I am not fan of that. More tot he point though, being happy at work matters more to me than if I even get FIRED. .I have been fired before. It's never the end of the world.
