One of my deep regrets. That was my first electric guitar, bought it used, didn't know what I had, and sold it a while later for one that "looked cooler".:(

For those who know this ....: I paid, I think $100 total for a Danelectro (a lot like Jimmy's - with the tube pickups and loooooong neck), a Heathkit (radio shack) amp, and a combination fuzz/wah/volume pedal (Foxx, I think).

Ha, used to hang with a bunch a dudes playing guitar, a long time ago, when we was spuds.

We had a hodgepodge of axes, some fancy, some not so fancy, but this one broke ... Danelectro was everyone’s favorite.

I think the guy who owned it paid Fifteen Bucks for it.

Love the Chicagos.

Psssssssst. Don't tell the Bronzed one, but it might be one of my infamous and multitudinous birthdays.

Hey y'all..........

Been ages since I said hey. Hope you're all doing well and staying safe and healthy in these frightening times. We're both doing fine. I'm working from home and Charlie's part time job is well, less than part time as retail stores are closed. So we're both home and keeping ourselves beyond well fed. They say half the population will come out of this better cooks and half will be heavier drinkers! I'm all about food, not alcohol, so we've had a blast cooking a lot lately. The kitties are massively enjoying having us home all the time and they're both healthy and happy.

At Charlie's pleading, I stopped vaping a couple weeks ago. Whether vaping is a factor in surviving Covid-19 or not, since I'm over 60, I'd rather take fewer risks should I get sick. I will say that not vaping is a mixed bag. I'm back to experiencing the joys of living in a "fog like state" (even with nicotine lozenges) that is akin to what it was like to quit the ciggies all those years ago. I'm coughing a bit in my second week, but I imagine that comes with quitting putting anything in my lungs other than air for more than a decade. My blood pressure is lower, which is a good thing. And I'm sleeping better, though I had to go on a CPAP machine about a year ago or face being divorced after years of snoring kept Charlie awake.

I still have all the Provape gear I had when I was a regular poster around these here parts. That includes 4 Radius, a Procyon and multiple Kabuki. Assuming I'm successful staying off vaping in the future, I may put the gear up for sale (including the coil building gear and associated tops you can build coils for), but I need to get through some time before I'd be willing to go there.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in say hey to all, with hopes everyone is staying healthy and safe these days.

Nice to see ya and glad you two are safe and sound! Our instant pot has been getting renewed interest and we just got a vacuum sealer, so the dining at home hobby is taking off here too!

We're in the opposite end of the vaping spectrum, happily puffing our high PG liquid in hopes it helps. Stopping vaping during this stay at home time is one strong willed effort! The ProVaris will wait patiently just in case you need 'em!
