@Arnold Ziffle , I see your point. FM radio was in its heyday and airplay meant money and careers.

I made a USB with 1480ish "good" songs for the car. I am surprised at how many I included and the number of one-hit wonders, but, not only do they bring back memories, but by my way of thinking about music as an art, they ARE art in the sense of meeting criteria.

It includes classical, soul, big band, country, R&B, Disco, and a good amount of progressive music. Just like the song that I just posted by Never the Bride, I heard it as song by Robert Plant, and the lyrics are very good, but Never the Bride used a piano and it, to me, is a much better quality song. I don't mind cover songs...if they are good/better than the original.

I just posted a block of Eagles songs, and I liked the roughness of the early days just as much as I like the "polished" versions. I posted those because the performances were not what was on the radio.

Music comes to different people in different ways, some not so much, others very much.

Music is a world so large that it can be a challenge, and a gift.

any songs that were top 40 from the sixties and seventies i cant stand listening to them. they played them over and over so much it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I can understand that, for me I like hearing all that old stuff now days, I don't hear hardly any of it anymore. :|

Sadly, gnees, you don't have near enough bling for her to release her heart. I think.
If you zoom in on the tank, it has hearts on it. I don't think I would have bought it. But then again I have bought some things that I look at now. And am not sure what I was thinking. OR...:toast::party:

This is a cover of a Led Zeppelin song by Never the Bride. I think it is a much better version.

An excellent version, I'd agree. That song has a long history for me though, dating all the way back to 1976.

I'll always opt for the original. :)

Oh, stop it. You've always had her heart and you know it.

If I recall correctly, I believe you called, "Dibs!"

:2c:

That's a cute little thing you've got there, by the way.  :D

Really cool puzzle. Hubs and I do lots of puzzles. Used to be the old fashioned way but these days it’s on our tablets. Here is my favorite and it's a free download.
