That could work...I would sound like a caterwauling cat. lol

I don't know if she'll be around tonight, but I probably should let her speak/caterwaul for herself. :D

Sounds like you'd make a nicely paired team. :headbang:

Missed an anniversary...guess time don't matter so much anymore. 9 Years off the cigs, whoodathunkit possible!?!

Belated Happy Ninth, Duane. 10-15 years ago, yeah, this wouldn't have been even a possibility. Amazing that some of us were able to quit smokes (myself very much included). Two thumbs-up and a high-five to YOU, our friend, and I hope life's treating you very, very well. :)

I've missed a few lately too, including my 10th. With everything going on against vape, they started to feel a bit empty to me. Hey - such is life, I guess.

I know what you mean but still...congrats to you, it is very important in spite of the idiots trying to quash it.

Thanks, Rosie, and yes, it matters (Duane). I celebrated it, just semi-quietly. :)
5 months after my last cig I finally noticed I was coughing up less nasties. That long to even notice it! It slowly continued to improve beyond that. Took about 2 years to stop coughing up that crap. Good ole stinkies!

Yep - and most of us knew it was killing us for years, but continued on our un-merry ways. vaping finally provided a way out.

I guess we can't be having that now, can we? ;)

No, Sir. To believe the TV ads inundating my screen, vaping is just as bad as cigarettes.

"Hate" is a strong and destructive word. Unfortunately, it has become one that's dominating my existence.

    My mind remains boggled.

When I was still smoking, I knew full well that it was killing me, and used to joke about it, like well at least I know what I'm going to die from. After i quit and about six months passed I saw my youngest brother, he was amazed and said to me that he never expected to see me alive again. I was in really bad shape back then, constant hacking and wheezing, struggling with a flight of stairs. It's been a fun ride since, but now I face another battle, one that I may not win...I've been told that the liver is a pretty important organ to be healthy.

Had an appointment with a gastroenterologist today, he confirmed my suspicions, advanced cirrhosis. Going to get some blood work and paracentesis to relieve the severe abdominal bloating. I am not a candidate for a Donar organ...you play, you pay. I'm going to make some changes, but what will be will be. Thanks to all for the well wishes. It's been a fun ride.
