So @DPLongo22 I never heard of Disturbed. That clip with the little girl was great, and I took a quick look at YouTube, which I try to avoid, but get sucked into for music. Quick look only brought up Sounds of Silence. Wow. Thanks. What else can you point me to?
Sounds of Silence was an unusual choice for them. They're one of the mid-90s "Nu Metal" (I think that's what they called it) bands. Staind, System of a Down, etc..
It's an acquired taste for some people, and definitely not for everyone. Nothing revolutionary, musically speaking, but can be fun in the right settings.
They're most commonly known for a sound Draiman came up with, which is an odd "yell" that sounds like, "WAH-AH-AH-AH!" He once said that kids do it when they see him, and he's often surprised that young kids even know it. You'll see what I mean in clip below, at the beginning of the song.
Like I said, not for everyone, and scaring a little girl at a live show is certainly not difficult to imagine.
