Dads Know how to have fun! :?:

Then we spend the rest of our lives trying to get back the thrills we had by being little enough to throw around. Roller coasters, fast cars, . . . . .

I live among the oaks so we have a gigantic squirrel population. Pesty little bastiches. My neighbor got mad at them one day so he sat hisass in a chair on his back deck and started to pick them off with his 22. Killed 16 of them that afternoon. Next day I look over and counted five in his yard. :)

I went out tonight to reset the traps in the garage and while we were visiting my Dad today, they gnawed little tiny holes in the bottom of the plastic fuel stabilizer bottle sitting on the work bench. I had a slight mess to clean up. I hope the one that did that throws his guts up. Jackie sometimes leaves the garage door open during the day hoping the neighborhood cats will waltz in and help out.

So I want thru all of my luggage from my Dominican trip last week and the Dominican rat bastich security stole my wife's black Classic. I didn't think anything was missing, but definately gone.

100% sure it was them as I was called into secondary for a luggage search and that was the only item they seemed to be interested in. I told them it was a flashlight and it was put back in my suitcase.

Of course the luggage sat there after I left so I didn't see it put on a conveyor belt.

Not a huge deal as I have another 11 Provaris, but I would have rather give it away for free to a needy vaper than let those dummys swipe it.

P.s. That was the only negative of my vacation. Great people (in general!), great weather, fairly inexpensive and a beautiful place. I am considering buying a house or condo near Puerto Plata in the future as we love it there so much.

Just leave your expensive vapes at home when traveling there!

Quoting myself feels,,, strange, tingly even.

I responded to travel to Dominican Rep may 15 2017.
The only problem I've ever had traveling with vape gear was leaving the Dominican Republic.
Been there twice recently & once about 3 years ago every time same story.
Security confiscated everything that looked like it was worth something. They didn't seem to have much interest in ego/ce4 / cheap looking gear, they let about a dozen ego/ce4 type through before & after us, in plain view of everyone around. We also saw folks with old looking beat up newer / better gear that got passed on through.

Don't fall for the ' a representative of your hotel or resort can help get your stuff on the plane', You hand it over, go through security & never see your stuff or the 'representative' again.

we won't be going back, ever

They knew it wasn't a flashlight, they've seen & taken hundreds along with all sorts of other decent vape gear.
You gave a deceptive answer, be very glad all they did was 'steal' your provari.
IMO, you got extremely lucky to return with any of your decent vape equipment.

I have personally seen with my own two eyes many dozens of power & delivery devices removed, confiscated, stolen *whatever* on just 3 trips.
3 couples on our last trip coming back on the same flight thought hiding vape stuff in their checked luggage (with the exception of batteries) would work.
Nope, everything / all of it was removed right in front of their eyes by security.

Not to rub salt in the wound.

Not rubbing at all.

My plan was to bring two cheap clone mechs for me and old KBox and iStick 30 mods for my wife.

I was confident at the last minute that everyone else was dumb for carrying on vape gear and checked was fine.

Wrong. My fault but we had an amazing vacation, so whatevs. Whenever I convince myself that I am smarter than everyone else, bad things happen. :D

There are a lot of amazing, interesting, relaxing, beautiful, friendly places to spend your vacation dollars that are not corrupt.

It isn't vape related so I left it out, on our last trip - my wife had a sun dress, bikini, a new pair of shoes bought just prior to the trip, several items of cosmetics, I pod, a hat & jacket with our ranches insignia removed / stolen by airport security.
My electric beard / mustache trimmer, a custom made leather belt with my ranch HQ brand on it, TSCRA hat, leather flip flops, a note book I use for business removed / stolen.

Several of the same stories on just the one flight.

Like I said, IMO you got lucky, or we've been unlucky the 3 times we've been there.

They musta needed the stuff more than we did, or, they were planning a garage sale or just shopping for gifts.

Yeah, get this.... I called the Jeep dealer today to tell him I needed to bring it in for a window regulator problem. When I told him my name and, "from Caseville with the black Jeep" he replied, "Oh yeah, the guy with the squirrels."
