Yeah, get this.... I called the Jeep dealer today to tell him I needed to bring it in for a window regulator problem. When I told him my name and, "from Caseville with the black Jeep" he replied, "Oh yeah, the guy with the squirrels."
What's a window regulator?

I have a '06 Liberty and in the first seven years, seven times (average once a year), on the two rear doors, the cable would get stripped from the palm sized plastic piece. To shut me up, Chrysler gave me a full electrical component warranty until next summer so this won't cost me anything. Oddly enough, it hasn't happened on the rear doors in about three years. The part was $25 and the labor $100. I'm expecting the same kind of deal on the front door.

If I can't drive, I'm not going.
That's why I never went to Hawaii! Lol

Actually, on my bucket list is to take a train to Seattle, WA (because it's the furthest point in America on a train from me), spend a couple of daze in a hotel, and eat some candy and brownies. I think the scenery traveling on a train would be beautiful. Plus, one can check his pistol on a AMTRAK....

Consider a Canadian railroad trip thru Banff and Jasper on your way to WA.

I have thought about the train several times. Do trains have the TSA? We have two dogs (no pictures) and leaving those two would be costly and hard on the two old mutts.

It is beautiful on a train but leave your guns at home.

One of the strangest things I have heard from a relative that works for the Canadian Border agency is the number of Americans that don't realize that you have to drive into Canada to get to Alaska. Multiple guns are seized daily.
Certain Rifles and ammo are allowed in with the correct paperwork, but handguns are a different thing.

Same for DH and I. Never, ever, getting in a plane again.
And they're not even faster anymore. By the time you drive to the airport, get past security, check in, deal with delays, chase luggage you could drive faster in many cases. And when you drive, you have a car at the end of your destination instead of having to rent one. Not to mention my car seat is a hell of a lot more comfortable than a plane seat.

Yup. All of the above! And when we are too old to drive safely…oh well…no more road trips…it's not as if we have any family to visit in other areas. It's just the two of us!

Ha, that's funny. You don't suppose the squirrels are gnawing on the regulator?
