OOOH, I'll say nice again. Before, I was out and about and looking at the pics on my phone, after getting home and on my pc, looking at all this, I can see it much better.
Looks Great!I mentioned a few days ago that I was going to post the pics of my mixing desk and shelves, these basically show some of the fabrication to finished pics. I did not realize that I had never taken pics of the drawers that I added later. I actually have not finished them, still working on the drawer faces, still trying to get the finish right. I know I posted a few of these in the past, but not all of them. Sorry if the area is kind of dusty, I have a limited work area.

I will post the pics of my flavor racks when this one is done, I put the last coat of poly on it today.

You ever listen to Greta Van Fleet?
Both of those are on mine...
I bought a three foot section of polycarbonate tubing before Mike got off his high horse and started offering it as a replacement...got about five or six poly tanks sitting in waiting, and a half dozen plus glass replacement sleeves put away...maybe a dozen lol. I seem to be lucky with glass...knock on wood.Kabuki glass ... I've broken 3 (or 4) in the last year. One accident, the rest improper handling. I do have one polycarbonate sleeve but much prefer the fused quartz glass.
One (1) Fused Quartz Glass OR Polycarbonate ... $9-10 (ZFO)
Polycarbonate ... $7 (Gumption Depot Inc) $10 for Quartz
I haven't seen it mentioned, but I noticed a week or so ago that ProVari Fuel (under their accessories tab) has 10 packs of ... "Our replacement glass is proudly made in the USA of laboratory quality borosilicate glass that has been cut and polished to our exacting standards" ... $69.95 for 10. Sounds like a pretty good deal, all things considered.
I still have several spares on hand. Wonder if prices are going to go lower? Seems ZFO recently knocked a buck off their single replacements. Sign of anything? I hope not.
EDIT: ... and ordered a 10 pack LOL. Not taking any chances. Kabuki is "MY" tank.
No, but good to know. Thanks for the heads up!You ever listen to Greta Van Fleet?
Unreal 4 song EP. I swear to god I am listening to early Led Zeppelin.
Amazingly talented 18-21 year olds from Frankenmuth. Gonna be huge.
I use the harder rings with the polycarbonate tanks, I've got a bag of like a hundred of them, don't recall the size, I chopped them on my band saw with a chaser piece of scrap wood and then sanded the edges and de burred the cuts with a sharp knife. The critter is a bird, been there nightly , I don't mind it being there, in fact, it's kind of cool that it found that little corner to settle into...What the heck is that E ?!?!?! I can't tell
The polycarbonate (from ZFO and Gumption) fits a teeny tiny little bit looser than the Quartz glass. In fact, when I used the polycarbonate on my ZA-U ... it leaked. Haven't even tried polycarbonate on a Kabuki. The polycarbonate came with two o-rings and I figured maybe they were slightly different than the o-rings for Quartz since the polycarbonate was a teeny tiny looser fit ... didn't make any difference ... on the ZA-U anyway.
