... so who makes the Kabuki style?
The indigenous Steam Tribe people that's who
Their delrin tip isn't as nice as a HoH Gertrude either
Chimney may be a little shorter but haven't used science to prove it
Just SEEMS like the original holds a bit more juice ...
But maybe the "glass" is longer with the Tribe and not the chimney shorter
Hasn't bothered me enough to check ... yet
Vapes the same same ... but would have bought a straight up 510 from HoH if they had it even though it costs ten (9-10) times as much. I'd sleep better at night that way.

I’ve got 3 clones. The last 2 were Steam Tribe and came in those black boxes. My first one was “KBK style” and came in a short cardboard tubelike box with a big round decal that said Kabuki on it. It was gifted to me by a nice member. All 3 look the same, vaped the same, had the same parts bag.
Don’t know if they are all made by same company, but I have $17.76 total into the 3 and I like them a lot.

As suspected, the chimney length of the Kabuki clone (left) is actually a good bit shorter than the original. When assembled, the overall length of the clone and original are virtually the same (because the glass is the same length on both) ... but due to being bottom fill, the original holds that much more juice. I like the tip of the original best too.

Yeah thing is, you can order an original tip for $12 + shipping. That's $2 more + shipping, than the whole kit and kaboodle $10 clone that has free shipping. 9 or 10 clones for the price of one original. While they vape the same, the original is clearly best overall ... 9-10 times better? Maybe, if it helps me sleep better at night. But at the end of the day, I think/hope I'm okay with a clone or two considering I've spent just north of $400 for 4 originals ... and seriously tried to buy an original 510 but couldn't find one.

Ya know, you could use the clone base with the OG chimney, since the coil is the actual connector piece, and have your 510 base and OG top. ive got four OG Kabukis I bought from HOH and a couple clones with 510 bases because Mike stopped making them, so in reality, the 510 bases are a clone of an unobtanium, I have no guilt for buying them because of the Makers Hubris in refusing to make 510 atties.

And his P3 to 510 adapters iME are crappy. I can never get my two to work so they are buried in a box with the rebuildable Nauti WWTF coils. Worst vaping product in history IMO. :nah:

I also own 4 Kabukis (and 4 HoH mods) and wouldn’t lose sleep over buying a Kabuki 510 clone.

That has crossed my mind as well E but haven't found a real need to do so as I'm rarely more than a couple of miles or few minutes away from a refill. Waiting for push to brush against shove or I find a round tuit.
Yeah, and it's so easy to top off a Kabuki, I've even topped one off in traffic sitting at a red light light a few times. :) the trick is to not spill your beer ;)

I modified two of them 510 bases by removing the center pin and adding a slightly longer center pin made from some brass pin stock I have. On my modified ones the pin slides a little easier and allows the coil to connect on all my ProVi's, even the slant tops with a ring. I know that's not an option for everyone, but it was a good fix for me to be able to use them with my older proVi's...

I couldn't agree with more. They are why I had my 510 ProVari's fitted with P3 connectors.

Well, the old time cartos didn't always work so hot, especially the tanks. That said, I certainly wouldn't waste my time debating your statement. I feel you.

Question time for the pros again!
For all of you who know your Kayfun tanks, I need to know what these are! I think they are nanos. The picture with the colored tanks I know is a nano clone but what are the other two? And are they authentic?
Thanks guys and gals!

Both of yours are KFL+'s (they both have recessed fill holes and air adjustment screws). I have one of the first authentic KFL+ and an original authentic KFL (no plus). Both have the Svoemesto logos on the bottom and neither have the "NR" or "VR" logo like one of yours does. So I'd say both of yours are clones.

A standard KFL+ is 52.35mm tall (not including 510 connector, or drip tip). That's about 2-1/16". Compare to yours. Yours appear to be nanos.

The one with the VR is definitely an authentic Svoemesto Lite v2+ base... exclusively sold by Vaperev

My husband has been very busy in our backyard. Here's the labyrinth with all the surrounding sidrals (protection symbols). We are getting way more fly overs lately, LOL.

Pretty cool I think. How far did you have to haul all those rocks? That project must of taken some time to do.

Nah, this is Tucson, you can do whatever you'd like around here, plenty of crazy stuff, LOL. My husband mainly did it well, because I said I wanted one, and he was building up his strength to go under the house, which still needs finished after the fire. It's HORRIBLE under there, it truly is, he wears a hazmat suit, but there's a great deal of accumulated dirt that needs to be shoveled out, and pipes to fix (that wasn't fire related, it was just bad plumbing) before the vapor barrier goes back up.... :)

(I do think my husband believes in aliens... but that's the oldest labyrinth design, and it's a half mile walk, so it's not bad for you know, purification of one's spiritual being and ah, exercise... :)
