I was feeling a lil melancholy the other day ruminating on how usually this time of year I'd get a lil sump'n sump'n from the mothership...just because. Might could be I need to dig through some boxes and dig a out ProVari I may have forgotten I even have and firing it up...

AW batteries...I did a little searching and wound up empty handed. I can't find any vendor with current stock of 18490 or 18350 AW cells. I dug out my back stock and will be OK I think, for a couple years...it's the 350's I'm more worried about, I could be happy with the Efest purple 490/500 cells, they seem to hold up pretty good and give good numbers on the IQ P3 tests...

One of our fellow members contacted a respected battery retailer and learned AW suffered a major flood in their facility. Most sellers seem to be out of stock, but they are getting things back in order and will continue to manufacture batteries soon.

what level and what difference do you notice ?
I have them in four different Kabuki's. One is set @ 4B, two @ 3B and one @ 2B. I just do it so I don't have to prime them. It's personal preference, really. Need to experiment. I don't do Boost in regular Nautilus coils because the wick is cotton and have burned them using BOOST.

EDIT: Maybe prime is not the right word. Preheat (whatever it's called) the coil for @ 1/2 to 1 second before the inhale by pressing button as raising PV to lips.

If you are using the P3, then the Aspire 18350 1300mAh batteries are great. I get much better run-time out of them than the AW 18490s. The trick is finding them. PM me if interested and I'll explain how.

These days I'm using Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 tanks with the 1.0ohm CLR coil on all my ProVari P3s and Radii. I run at 11 watts with the boost at one. It's not a big deal but everything gets going a bit quicker with the boost at one.

Often, as I am now in my autumnal years, I need a boost. I have thought of getting one of those "sling-a-gramps" lift chairs for that needed extra boost. Odd, it seems only yesterday that I was getting a booster seat for my daughter, now she can get one for me.
