Well, that's interesting. I was invited to "mammogram" for the first time this year since they lowered the age requirement. Since I have 0% breast or girly cancer on either side of my family I said I was perfectly happy to wait. I'm fairly certain that I don't have that "braca" gene or whatever.

I have to say I don't find it that "shocking" though. Misdiagnosis, overdiagnosis and problems with treatment happen all the time. It's certainly a shame, I doubt it is limited to cancer, and with that said there are THOUSANDS of commercials every year about problem meds or treatment ads. It's a well known fact that "prescription" drugs have killed many more people than non-prescription drugs.... Even if I had TRAGIC cholesterol, there's no way you'd get me to take a statin, for example, and it's been noted in a study or two that cholesterol "numbers" are sort of a game of chance, but I would do anything possible to avoid a statin, including red rice yeast and./or dietary changes and whatnot. I mean... This is where knowing and doing your own research is helpful and if I were ever diagnosed with anything serious I would get a second opinion immediately (other than the issues I already have). Certainly something like cancer.

But, unfortunately, the road to medical progress and life extension is strewn with casualties along the way. I am actually pleased they "freely admitted" it rather than hiding it, that would be awful.

yes. i put a carto on and attached it to a drill. the ceracote was a bit of a pain as i only had 400 grit and finer. i think i'll finish the gmz with 4000 to make it shiny. 400 matched a kayfun nicely.
It's a good look. Did you freehand the abrasive paper or use a sanding board?

i freehanded it with a light to medium pressure. i used duct tape on both sides as i didn't want to take it apart. i think the zencoat will be easier.
If it was done by HOH I have a feeling it might be more difficult to remove...in an interview vid by P Busardo Mike chucked a Zenkote tube in a lathe and had a go at it with some sandpaper, he spun it for a minute or so and it was hard to see any progress. Once you break through it might go a little faster for you, just throwing it out there for your consideration.

I'll be interested in how it goes for you if you do it.
