Upgrades for 2.0? Don't think they were part of the updater thingy package, or that there are any.

Only "chip" upgrade was from 1.0 to 2.0 (within first year) and they had to be sent in. A lot have assumed a new chip was inserted, dunno. As many know, the changes between 2.0 and 2.5 were cosmetic -- more circles on the mini and crop circles on the standard.

The upgrader thingy that was originally only sold to retailers was for the P3. When they were for sale to the public, some people got a CD with the upgrade files on it, but many didn't and they were made available on line.

The Radius has always been via USB -- thus via on-line source(s).

I know of no updates offered for Classic or Star Puppy (Procyon).

That's all folks! :)

Why bother to take pics of my new P3 that arrived today when I can just use these? Only thing missing is the ext. tube I bought with it for 18650 mode.

V2's, still going strong without a single firmware update since 2012...
Ordered a Provari 2 days before they release V2

^^^ funny perspective thread ;)

That was right after I had made the decision to get a Provari (decision made New Year's Eve, 2011), IF I could make it vaping for six months (13-May-2012). That date was approaching, then they announced that they were coming out with color LEDs.

I feared getting backlogged in a buying fury, so I pulled the trigger prematurely (premature vapebuyelation?), for a SS w/red LED.

Good memories, E (always, you) - so thank you. :)

@coldgin96 - that is a SWEET mod!!!!!!!

Where can I get springs for a v2.5 mini ?
Replacement ProVari 2.5 Spring

they are cheap...for now ;) Grab a few and put them away if you plan on using ProVari mods for the long haul, and you want them to work at their peak. ProVape considered the springs as a wearable item, to be replaced occasionally. Every unit that went in for any reason, was always shipped out with a shiny new spring....03 cent

Thanks, everyone! Yeah, gotta admit, it's pretty cool. I'm going to share something weird with it when I first checked it out.

I waited at least 2 hours before opening mail package to allow warm-up. Inserted a battery to check Version and it read, "41ER (instead of, "41VER") and the screen froze like that. Put another battery in and when I pressed the button, a big thick line appeared across the bottom of the screen and went blank after a couple more button presses. Tried using different batteries the next couple of times with the screen remaining blank although the button would flash different colors in quick succession with insertion of battery. Removed battery for at least 5 minutes and reinserted. Been fine ever since. That was Friday. Haven't actually used it, just checked it a couple of times a day so far.
I think it's going to be ok, just one of those things.... Any opinions? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I should add, aside from it being updated before shipping, it was unused. 0 puff count and all settings were set as brand new.

:2c: Back in the day, Cecelia from ProVape recommended changing the V2 spring once a year, stretching as needed.
The P3 spring, ProVape recommended changing every 6 months.

I got some for my 2.5's I use the heck out of those things. May need to get one for my P3 but I'm not stressing about that yet. Maybe I should be, but I bookmarked the site. I wish I'd gotten one now that I already paid shipping, but eh. I sort of have a feeling that if one of my springs died, my husband would MacGuyver me up something workable... :)

It's really nice being married to educated Appalachia, they know how to do things cheaply. Things like CHANGE out dead car radiators... Manfolk are great, mine in particular.... :)
