My personal opinion, KAS? Those 12 v2.5s are 8-11 more than you'll probably need for life. Ya done good.

Flip a Flipper, but NEVER flip an old Provi. ;)

I agree, which is why I'm keeping all of mine. But I do wonder if we'll always be able to get button top batteries?

Most likely, yes. If you own any RIGID tools, open 'em up. You'll find some very familiar looking batteries.

I just realized that I'm not supposed to know stuff like this, am I? Doesn't play well with my self-created persona (that's hard work, dontchya know).

IGNORE (and restating the answer below).

"I don't know, but I sure do hope so!!!"

Time to start the string of "meetings" (sigh). Happy Friday, all. :bday:

Jackie told me last night she has it set to G2

Funny, I decided to give cc another try, and ended up set to G2... too.

That's with a Nautilus coil in a Kabuki with 70/30 juice.

It's not bad.

Definitely a way bigger hit than I generally look for.

It does require the occasional pull to get some juice up to the coil, but, yeah, not bad at all.

G1 tends to hit whatever temp they set very quickly and triggers a warning. G7 is waaayyy too hot with that juice and coil.

We know from Mike Pietro's experimentation, and who was it.. Wang (?) that the Nautilus coils can get quite hot, so something is definitely kicking in there.

But the question remains as to what temps ProVape set as cut offs.

Wish they had given us a bit more info there.

So, not a total write off, as I first thought, just requiring a little fiddling.

I used my own coils. Spaced SS at 0.5 ohms. I'd find a setting that worked then it decided not to work (just cut off). I'd go too high, lower it and it would cut out. Go lower, raise it and then would be way too hot or cut out. It was all over the map. Tried putting in a different coil, same result. Maybe it doesn't like homemade coils. I gave up. Don't have these issues with the DNA.

I'm just messing with it.

My normal 7W's or so is below any of the cut offs (temp-wise) they picked imo.

Just not a thing I need except for random entertainment.
That's why I tried it. It's there so I thought what the heck. I'll try it.

And now for something that unequivocally works...

Simple Radio

Simple Radio by Streema

If a radio station has a live, publically available, stream; it's here.

Highly recommended, if you like to read and listen to the radio, as opposed to watching TV all the time.

How many ohms do you run it at?
