My friend has a Provari 3 and it is awesome. I didn't realize the cost and finesse involved in all of this. Have just been a box (Vaporfi Vex 75) with a Smok Prince tank vapor (er?) for a couple of years. We have some great vape shops around here and they just speak above my level. They have been wonderful in sharing experience and recommendations so far. Great juice. But after stepping up, have purchased a Provari 3 now and am looking forward to building and experimenting. I'm taking the advice here and starting with the recommended tank and some premade coils, but I'll get there. I so appreciate all of the free advice on moving on up in quality.

Wellcome to the Provape
The American Cancer Society has changed its position!

"Some smokers, despite firm clinician advice, will not attempt to quit smoking cigarettes and will not use FDA approved cessation medications. These individuals should be encouraged to switch to the least harmful form of tobacco product possible; switching to the exclusive use of e-cigarettes is preferable to continuing to smoke combustible products."

American Cancer Society Position Statement on Electronic Cigarettes

Those sound like good news but I'm a little skeptical about their true intentions. Is like the NAS report, they can't continue telling that e-cigs are as harmful as tobacco because nobody will believe them, but if you ask me the NAS report is really anti-vaping.

A problem for public agencies is that vaping is a universe of products, styles, nic levels, etc. I guess that they see us as real chaos and a regulatory nightmare. The problem: the fact that vaping has so may options to suit almost all kind of preferences is the reason why it has been so successful to help people stop smoking.

I fear that regulators will try to make rules in such a way that vaping will be reduced to a few options, mostly closed systems that are easy to regulate and therefore it will benefit very large companies that can easily sell a very standardized product.

Let me tell you a little something about America, Tom. We are a multi-cultural, uptight society. Some people, instead of looking at how good they have it (or could have it) and looking to the future wearing sunglasses, want to dwell on the past instead of getting along and treating each other as brothers and sisters.

Which is why no matter where they go or what they may do or what they may achieve they remain unhappy. The world they choose to see is always with them.
