Actually even a lot of high end restaurants don't make their own deserts , or make their own pastry.
If you've never read Kitchen Confidential by the late great Anthony Bourdain give it a go.
Makes Orwell's Down and Out in Paris and London adventures in commercial kitchens look positively hygienic.
Bon appetite .

I haven't read the Down and Out but I've read Bourdain's "Don't eat before reading this" published in the New Yorker. Makes you rethink eating out.

Don’t Eat Before Reading This

And his Kitchen Confidential is a great book. I have a copy.

Today I took a little ride along the American tobacco trail, I started at the southernmost access and pedaled six miles north along some beautiful country, the trail is unpaved at this end so packed gravel and sand, it surprised me how much more energy it took to ride such a trail as an asphalt bedded one, and this trail follows an old reclaimed rail line. The rails carried tobacco north from the fields up to Durham where it was aged and processed. There were some really scenic swampy areas, old stand pine forests , fields and of course residential neighborhoods bordering this section of trail. It was a hot and dusty ride, I had to waste a few drops of water each time I stopped for a drink, so I could flush the dust off of my water bottle spout. If you look at the non paved pix here : tobacco trail - Google Search, you'll get a pretty good representation of the scenery along the way...

Found this on the bay and have one on the way to me. Think there is one left. ProVari P2.5 Decorative End Cap - Zombie Prototype, Unreleased - New! ... one of provape_parts listings. I like it MUCH better than the end cap ProVape eventually went with and released.

Boston!!!!!!! What a MARVELOUS town.

I've always said..... if it didn't snow there........
The last couple times I visited up north in NH, it was in the teens in the daytime, and the temps dropped to below zero at night...I do NOT miss those winters...

That sounds good to me. Just off my drive way and across US 27 is a tobacco farm as large as any I ever saw back when tobacco was king in KY. Every year, there is a tobacco cutting contest to see who is fastest and at least one person ends up in the ER with nicotine poisoning. They take no precautions in order to win. Just a side note.

I have enjoyed you cycling adventures.

You and me both, CMD. It's gonna bug me too! I was an intimidating little tyke, with my FootiePJs and what-not. ;)

1/2 a cigarette yesterday I didn't even want to finish it. Going to shoot for 0 today but GOD knows. LOL. I woke up wishing there were a fresh pack of cigarettes in my hand, but I didn't you know, ACT on it. Chainvaping seems to be helping.

:thumb: Go get 'em, Anna!

Have you thought about pumping up your nic a bit? We're rooting for you. :)

My nic is PUMPED up in 3 tanks, LOL. I use them as needed.

I do note they ALSO seem to be the three that I am filling the MOST although to be fair a) A couple are 2 mm tanks and b) three tanks compared to like the other 8 or 9 or whatever, I forget. So....

But yes, that has helped a GREAT deal, that and deciding that I can't really GET more stressed out so why not throw quitting into the mix (I will admit that part of it feels like, "Spite" towards my Creator, as in, "Oh, so you want to make my life like THIS do you? Well, I'm going to HALT my smoking then, you miserable codependent Creature," LOL)

Thanks for the PumP though. LOL.
