From the Martin Scorsese directed movie, "The Last Waltz". Which was The Bands final performance as a group. A good number of guests, like the Staple Sisters here.

You bring me Levon Helm and the Staples Singers at the same time...you are a friend of mine.

When I was about 18 I wanted to marry Mavis just so I could hear her sing every day. Hell, I still would.

Much information. Man that story about the kids and Nicorette are so little.

My husband was smoking by that age, times appear to have changed.

I always hated Nicorette, well in many ways, but the name especially. It just seemed to make pharmaceutical nicotine options just that little bit too "cute."

Jeez though glad the kiddos are okay,

Anna

Hey there coldgin96, why don't you post a video or two of some of these great songs you are always listing here? Just a wondering....
Appreciate the comment, fellow Michiganian! Anyway, I suck. Looking up videos is more than I care to do, lol. I just post what album (vinyl, cassette, or CD) I listened to at 100 watts per channel on a particular day (never on Sunday).
Our puppy, Steel, is 11 weeks old today. When I am jamming, he'll come in and lay at my feet. He'll even fall asleep. All I can find on the internet is if it's to loud for humans, it's to loud for a dog. Well, it is to loud for a human but I don't care and neither does he. My ears are ringing when I am done. I don't know how he can take it. Jackie can't be in the same room. If there's only a few minutes left, I let him stay. Otherwise, if Jackie is not home, I put him in his crate (in another room). Today, Jackie was home and I called her between songs (when I could be heard) to come get him. We had him at the vet yesterday, but forgot to ask so I called them today to ask what their opinion was concerning puppies and loud Rock And Roll. The girl on the other end said since he is so young, treat him like a child. That settles it. I wouldn't want a child in there without ear protection so he's going to have to sit it out in another room.
