brilliant combination @kas122461
What astounds me about both singers are voices which nobody can touch. Orbison? wow.

I have always been a fan of Roy, as far as Patsy there is I fall to pieces and Crazy, that are the tunes I like of her's. I have always been an old time rock n roller, but those 2 songs were the exception. :)

Here is the Crazy tune.

Mutt Muffs Dog Ear Muffs - Ear Muffs

Appreciate the comment, fellow Michiganian! Anyway, I suck. Looking up videos is more than I care to do, lol. I just post what album (vinyl, cassette, or CD) I listened to at 100 watts per channel on a particular day (never on Sunday).
Our puppy, Steel, is 11 weeks old today. When I am jamming, he'll come in and lay at my feet. He'll even fall asleep. All I can find on the internet is if it's to loud for humans, it's to loud for a dog. Well, it is to loud for a human but I don't care and neither does he. My ears are ringing when I am done. I don't know how he can take it. Jackie can't be in the same room. If there's only a few minutes left, I let him stay. Otherwise, if Jackie is not home, I put him in his crate (in another room). Today, Jackie was home and I called her between songs (when I could be heard) to come get him. We had him at the vet yesterday, but forgot to ask so I called them today to ask what their opinion was concerning puppies and loud Rock And Roll. The girl on the other end said since he is so young, treat him like a child. That settles it. I wouldn't want a child in there without ear protection so he's going to have to sit it out in another room.

LOTS of versions, beautiful song.
It's in SHREK!!!

I honestly don't know for sure where I first heard this, or if this is the artist who played it, it might have been in a movie. Anyway I think it is a good one, worth sharing. :)

I live in Tobacco Road (NC) and there are hardly any tobacco fields left. They all went to cotton and soybeans.
They still grow a lot of tobacco over our way, some fields are located right next to schools even, but in the eleven plus years we have been down here, I've seen a lot of big fields turn into neighborhoods, back up north we used to call that the last crop...

That would be a Leonard Cohen original, redone by Jeff Buckley to much greater effect on I believe his first or second album.

He was considered to be amazingly talented (you should check out some of his other stuff) tragically died too young, I can't remember if it was a suicide think or just some reckless swimming while camping alone or whatnot (something he also apparently did).

I can't listen to that version except if I am prepared to bawl my eyes out.
