I've have a couple original's and a couple Tobeco clones. Hard to tell the real from the fake. I liked them when I used them. Yes they have a lot of parts but you're not tearing it completely down to re-wick/re-coil, etc. So to me it was 'mute' about all the pieces. I enjoyed them when I used them. I just moved on to KFV5's and Primes. Disclaimer: I'm not a flavor chaser, been vaping the same 2 flavors for 7 years now. If the atty doesn't leak and produces adequate vapor and is relatively easy to wick and coil, I'm a happy vaper.

The only real issue with them was for folks using them on a TC mod. The spring in the 510 connection series of parts interfered with the TC board recognizing the slight resistence change of TC wires. A gold replacement spring was the solution, but as I remember even that wasn't foolproof for TC vapers. Again, not a problem for me 'cause I'm a Kanthal and watts kind of guy.
You are correct about the TC problem with the V4. The V4 was released the same week TC came out so they did not anticipate the problem.

I took down a dead oak last spring. It was too close to the house. I burned the limbs because I dropped the tree on top of a burn pile so very little hauling. I cut the lower half in firewood lengths and just stacked them. Figured I’d wait for cooler weather to split em. That happened a few days ago. I have firewood coming out my :censored:. And I have a dead, 100-foot poplar I still need to take down. Kinda hoping a hurricane or nasty storm takes it down for me.
I have a bunch of birch logs from last year that need splittin, now that there are reasonable temps I'll be getting around to them any day soon, gotta have a good bed of coals to burn up the shrub trimmins :)

I did a birch last year. That is some dense, heavy wood. Make sure you sharpen your chain often.

I ordered 5 and 5 Thursday, got them Saturday and have been running them this week.
I even have been using the 18490 in a mini REO.
Good for my needs.

Thanks Classy

You had me a REO..

Just now snagged a kayfun V4 from that ProVape parts guy, listing said open box? Never tried this attie before, anyone here use them?

I have several. I like it's look the best of all. It's fun to play with. But I find the 5 easier to use on a daily basis. It can be tricky to take apart and put back together.
SvoëMesto used to have little films on its website that helped. If they are not there and you need them, let me know. I can put them on Dropbox for you. I don't know if you have one or not, but the 510 can be remove and a ProVari P3 connector put in it's place. Looks nice on a Radius or a weapon on a P3. There's also an extension to take it to 6.5ml. Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll try to answer.

The Prime rocks!

When the Prime was released, I was on a self imposed buying embargo. Lately, I've been starting to consider getting one but everywhere I look is out of stock. Did Svoemesto discontinue it while I wasn't paying attention?

Not that I'm aware of but I have heard they are hard to find. CdV is about the only one with a steady supply.

Well it looks like my 16 month stretch, on no 40 hour work weeks will end this week, I might even get some overtime. I am tired though, worked another 9 1/2 hours today, kind of comes with good timing, I just bought tires for the HHR, and also need to do a few other maintenance items on it as well. I also was all ready planning to order another Dicodes Dani Box Mini tomorrow. I doubt if I will get the same amount of hours next week, but every little bit counts. :|

A couple of other things I thought about... There's spring inside that carries the current. The first bunch were X metal. They changed them to gold. If yours isn't gold, you might want to run one down. Second, adjusting the airflow is a PITA. The screw is metal. You can get a Teflon screw that works better, or you can do like I did and remove the screw. I like the greater airflow.

I've noticed parts for the V4 are starting to disappear. Right now Dash Vapes seems to have the best range. You might want to stock up if you are going to use it long-term.

Just received my three E-Fest, 18350 button tops that I ordered off E-Bay. Charged them (took five seconds...musta been fully charged). Threw one in my P3.

Battery = 68%
IQ = 54 [POOR]

Not reassuring. I'll deplete and recharge and see what happens. Yes, I unscrewed and rescrewed the bottom cap a couple times.

Well I got my 40 hours in today at 11:30 PM, and drove straight home, it was a long hard week. As soon as I got home, I ordered my 2nd Dicodes Dani Box Mini, The Titan Gray one. :) It will most likely be my last purchase this year other than some flavorings. I would like to get 2 more Kayfun Primes, but that will be next year I think. :unsure:
