Sorry to hear that, KAS. I have had horrible luck with contractors in my area and even had a court case which I won but no way to make them pay up, apparently. I did put a lien on the owner's home but who knows when that will ever pay off. I hope you have good luck. I learned a valuable lesson and will always get everything in writing, very spelled out of exactly what they will do for how much for any work done in the future. I had issues with another contractor but I refused to pay for things they did not do so that sort of worked out.
On a positive note, thanks to a wonderful Provarinati member, I now have another GMZ and I am so happy. Thank you, thank you @ENAUD
Seamless gutters isn’t exactly a DIY project either.Its just part of home ownership, stuff happens. It is not really catastrophic of anything, just looks like crap is all. The contractor I bookmarked is a family owned company, that has been around for 40 years, and it is just one 40 ft run. If it ends up being to much, I will pull the rest of it down myself, and have it replaced later. I don't really want to do that if it is only 5 outside though.
