Yep, this was in the early 80's and he didn't drink alcohol (maybe the Parkinsons) so his drink was plain grapefruit juice. He was a friend of my boss and I was bar manager at the time. Nicest, quietest man, ever.

I kid you not >

I ALMOST wrote, "That would have made you a bartender sometime around the mid 80's, from the picture."

He made quite the impression on me, from a very young age. :thumb:

    Too funny DP

The rest of the story is that when Ali was about 3 months old, another dog knocked him off the step onto cement patio, breaking his leg. I took him to many specialists/tests including driving 5 hours one way multiple times to try to save the leg. We saved it with multiple surgeries but he longer uses it at all. Because we often said his surgeries cost as much as if I bought a new car and Million Dollar Baby had not been out long, we often said we had a boxing theme going on due to that movie and his name. He was worth every penny though. He would give his life to protect me, all 9-10 pounds of himself. He is a fighter and larger than life like Muhammed was.

Ali was just amazingly mesmerizing to listen to, so much taunt, intelligence, poise, eloquence, and greater than life charisma all rolled into a powerhouse presence. Back when the whole family could gather around that huge console TV/stereo furniture contraption thingie and watch it on broadcast...ah, the memories...

Funny thing was I couldn't stand to watch Ali on TV with all the smack talk. My father watched him all the time. So when I met him, I was expecting an arrogant man and he was nothing like that. Very nice man and not arrogant in the least. I gained a new respect for him after I met him.

Got that Dani Mini on the way to me and figured I'd get fresh new batteries for it. Settled on six of the Molicel P26A ... THEN ... found out Moli has a P28A out !!! DOH !!! Should be okay. Mooch specs 'em out to perform the same down to 3.2V where the P28A excels with a bit longer run time, 2800mAh vs 2600mAh. The P26As were about seventy-five cents cheaper. Oh well. If I'd known about the P28As, I prolly would have gone with them. Maybe next time.

Why not use lettuce leaves as the bread or make your own gluten free bread. :D

Have you heard of using those big pickle slices as the bread? I haven't been able to find large slices but sounds yummy.
No, sounds good! I have wrapped slices of cheese around pickles. Btw, I eat a dill pickle every day. Supposed to help with Vaper's Tongue.

Why does the AC always go out on a Friday afternoon? Hotter than blazes and they won't come out until Monday.
Again, come to Michigan, 65F outside right now. Tomorrow's high - 64

I have had too many disappointments with food since being diagnosed, I have learned to find and use things as they were intended, and enjoy them as is...that being said, one of my favorite flat breads is a pancake recipe I have modified incorporating corn masa as a base ingredient...they are hearty, fluffy, and full of flavor. It really is the gluten that makes certain breads what they are, like them french baguettes and them really sweet tasting Italian loaves...sometimes I think I'd be happy to just kill myself so I can fly on up to heaven and have a really nice Cuban sandwich with Hesuze... but then there is that whole go to hell and die a thousand deaths thing...

I have been using the LG HG2's for years now, and have never really needed to try any other battery. I first got them for my Radius's when Provape recommended them. I honestly have never heard of Molicel, (what a weird name) I am sure that they will be fine. I got mine from RTD. :|
