I know as a teen and young adult, I wasted a whole bunch of disturbing amounts of lifetime blowdrying my hair.
That actually made me chuckle a bit :) Since moving south, in the warm 9 months we get here, I now keep my hair so short I only have to brush it with my fingers to get it neat and dry

I never worried too much about my hair, I started cutting it myslef when the price went up to $0.75, a kit from Sears and presto-changeo I was a autodidact barber. But, man, did I look good. My mother was not as impressed as I was.
About twelve years back I bought a Wahl clipper, and my wife loves giving me a buzz cut. Have saved many hundreds of dollars on haircuts over the years...twentyish dollar set of trimmers, priceless!

Yup, I just lean over the toilet and flush the evidence. I wait until Mrs CMD is out of the house for a goodly period, probably a grocery trip (takes forever) or a stroll through Home Goods (always worth a couple of hours) As soon as she hits the door, I go to work, ten minutes later I am lookin' good. I always hope that when she returns home she will be tired and not notice. While I am the apple of her eye, she is not a fan of my grooming skills.

In 1975 I was cutting hair for other guys on my floor in the dorm. I think it was because I had a pair of scissors. It was pretty easy, just lop off the last inch or two of shoulder length hair. I did it for beer.

In 2015 my son asked for a pair of clippers so he could keep his buzz cut. He ended up buzz cutting guys on his floor, about 100 yards from where I was clipping 40 years before. He did it for fun.

I am in the middle of watching the democratic debate on YouTube. I don't know why as I am neither Democratic or Republican and thus don't vote in the primaries. I need to think about a back-up plan in case I don't vote for Trump.
I just wish when someone asks a politician a question they would answer it.

But but but...... then they wouldn't be politicians.

All of those confused, when just one of these would have sufficed.

IMpact, baybee!

(of which, YOU are King)

The Coors I'm sipping in that pic was a treat back then. You couldn't get Coors east of the Mississippi unless one of your friends was a long haul trucker and brought a few cases back. Tasted different, better than what you find today. Maybe so hard to get had something to do with it. Dunno

EDIT: At that time, I was a Miller drinking guy. $1.79-1.89 a six pack. Paid Zany Murphy (R.I.P.) my trucker friend a dollar a bottle for Coors when he brought some back from time to time. Good stuff. Good times

Yep. Out here in CT they were rarest of rare back then too.

Wasn't that the plot for Smokey & The Bandit, in fact?
